Minut monitors sound levels, and notifies you when it detects loud noises. It keeps our home safe and neighbors happy while respecting our guests' privacy. No Intrusive Cameras or audio recording devices, this only monitors noise levels based on decibels. A sound's loudness is measured in decibels (dB). Normal conversation is about 60 dB, a lawn mower is about 90 dB, and a loud rock concert is about 120 dB. This device is set to notify you by text if noise goes over 75 decibels for 10 minutes or more. If you get a text message from the device please make sure you keep the noise levels down as requested. The location of this property was ideal for our one week stay in Salt Lake City. Restaurants, grocery shopping and quick drive to U of U for doctor's appointments. The property had everything we needed for our stay. Very cute decor. Enjoyed the space and comfort for the three adults who were there. Communication with the owner was quite satisfactory.
