The villa has a large private pool (11m x 6m) immersed in a 7000 sqm private park of olive groves, meadows and woods. The villa was designed to enjoy the view of the Gulf of Salò, has a large living room with high wooden ceilings and windows with breathtaking views, three of the bedrooms have windows with lake views, new swimming pool surrounded by a well-kept garden. The villa has been completely renovated recently and has new systems and accessories, new bathrooms, a new kitchen, air conditioning in the main floor bedrooms and beautiful antiques selected in combination with modern comfort. | - Bedrooms: Sleeps 13 in 5 bedrooms: On the main floor the bedrooms have air conditioning, a magnificent lake view, direct access to the terrace and garden, there are two double bedrooms and a family room with a double bed and a bunk bed, on the lower floor a double bedroom and a bedroom with a double bed and a single bunk bed. - Bathrooms: 3 bathrooms, new and with high quality finishes. The villa is also well kept, well equipped and has a nice pool. We also appreciated the grocery shopping service and the nice welcome gift (fantastic local oil and wine). The pool with the garden and the view over Salo is the highlight. We enjoyed the terrace during all the day. The center of Salo can be reached by walking in 45 minutes. We did several biking tours through the Valtenesi. Salo is a beautiful town with a lot of shops,cafes and restaurants at the lakeside. There are several nicely furnished areas to take full advantage of the view. The pool & its surroundings are in sun most of the day. The water was too cold for most of us, it being late October. We'll have to come back in the summer. The villa was very well equipped and we enjoyed all breakfasting in the kitchen & having evening meals in the dining room /lounge. The Garda Holidays staff were delightful to deal with... very helpful & accommodating. The owner of the villa came very promptly to sort out a small problem with the gas supply. We had all the utensils, furniture and outside kit for the 12 + 3 month old and they were in good condition. One or two minor niggles such as one of the bedrooms slept 4 which was a bit awkward with 12\. We were inundated with ants in the bedrooms but there isn't a lot you can do about it, Grounds were a bit untidy with long grass but didn't notice really until we left on the Friday and they strimmed it all which made it look a lot better, Pity it hadn't been done for our week. Finally it is quite remote and the description doesn't really prepare you for the distance you walk to the lake or more importantly how steep it is to come back up.
