"We enjoyed the house as everyone’s rooms were spread out and gave each privacy. Beautifully decorated and much detail throughout. Loved the indoor and outdoor kitchens as one of our family members is a fine dining chef and we all enjoy cooking. The wood sauna and soaking tub was a huge hit with our family as well the outdoor patios and fire pits to gather around."

"We had a nice stay. There are several comfortable outdoor spaces for sitting and enjoying the woodsy setting. The view would be lovely, but was difficult to enjoy from inside as the big picture window was cloudy (not dirty, but due to a defective seal, usually covered under warranty and easily fixable). The interior was clean, comfortable and stylishly decorated. Hosts were very helpful and communicative."

"This house is perfect for a family stay in the Monterey area. We loved having a fenced in area for the dogs to be let out. The house is comfortable, the beds were great, the communication was prompt and friendly. They had bowls and bed, etc for the dogs, it was a nice touch. The neighborhood itself wasn’t the best for dog walking, not much grass/yards there and my husband was followed by an unattended loose pit bull the first time he walked them. So we drove to a nearby park or the area around...

"My friends and extended family have an annual reunion in Carmel, a tradition for 20 years. We have had opportunity to stay in multiple houses over the years. This home, however, was the best by far. It suited all of our particular needs beautifully. The house is exactly as described. The landscaping is beautiful with multiple outdoor seating areas. "What a wonderful place for a girls weekend! We have been friends for over 40 years. The property was spotless, very comfortable, beautiful view and easy walk to beach. Would love to come back again. The drip coffee pot was not working well. The keruig was perfect. Plenty of dishes and pots and pans to make excellent meals. Joe was very responsive to questions."
