Just wanted to mention that it is the basement of the main house so you can hear the footsteps above. But we were able to sleep as it didn’t go late. The hot tub is not private as it is just off the main house deck and has visibility from the top floor of the house. My wife and I stayed for 3 nights and it was perfect to explore the Monterey area and come back to a nice quiet spot with a hot tub to enjoy. We did use Uber/Lyft to get us to and from downtown Monterey so just make sure you select the proper pickup location otherwise there may be communication issues with their gps but otherwise it was such a nice getaway and a super comfy bed to sleep in, would absolutely recommend. ##### Ian G.
