This suite will draw you back to the time when Salida was once a part of New Spain. The Adams-Onís Treaty of 1819 designated the adjacent Arkansas River as the lower border of the United States. Relax into the comfort and beauty of this suite and the serenity that the Arkansas has to offer. \*This condo is located in the heart of downtown Salida. There are working restaurants and bars in the area. Be prepared for a truly urban experience. You can't beat the location, right in the midst of the historic district/creative corridor and right across the street from the river park. That was lovely. But a few minor things could have been just a tiny bit better - the decor was a little more shabby and dated than it was vintage (vintage, cool, and pretty sexy was how the photos looked to us, but not quite in reality). The shower was truly teeny tiny, I'm pretty small and I barely had room to turn around. The kitchen is helpful but sparsely appointed - like there as literally only one paring knife to work with (and we like to at least eat breakfast in the room, so cooking anything was difficult). But other than those tiny inconveniences, we had a comfortable stay and the hosts were very communicative and helpful. I would stay again, but maybe in a room with a bigger shower! ##### Naama H. Everything was as expected and Terry even came to check on us to make sure we had plenty of towels. She was very kind. There was also dove toiletries which was better than at the last place we stayed. I also liked the pillows. The only issue was when we took the trash out, there was a hole in the bottom of the bag and our trash fell out on the floor. That was annoying but just a bad circumstance that I doubt happens to anyone else. There was a little trash from the previous guest but it wasn’t anything gross. Also, one of our towels was a “dog towel” but we didn’t notice until after Terry had talked to us. I’m sure she would have traded it out for us if we had asked but we had an extra.
