Whether you want to roam the shops downtown, play in the river, or go for a hike in the mountains, simply walk out your front door. No need to drive. The Salida Mountain Trails are located right across the river! After a day of adventure, treat yourself to a long soak in the huge tub before you step back out your door to find an outdoor patio for happy hour! Life really doesn't get any better! This is the perfect spot if you want to enjoy the laid-back life of Salida, the art studios, the Arkansas River, and ease of access to food and beverages. It is easy to get to and easy to get out of, meaning it is easy to flitter in and out of Salida if you want to get into the mountains, hike, horseback riding, rafting. It isn't secluded, if that is your thing (which it can be sometimes for us as well). After a long day you can slip off and explore the town or sit back and relax and enjoy the town from afar. It really is an awesome place to stay while. Your own parking spot (only 1) in town.
