Come relax in our newly built vacation home situated at the Crossroads of the Rockies, in beautiful Poncha Springs! We are only a 20 min drive to Monarch Mountain Ski Resort or 8 min drive to downtown Salida. The home is centrally located for just about every adventure CO has to offer. Whether you are thrill-seeking or just need a place to unwind, you will find a cure to your wanderlust at our “Blue” Spruce Retreat in Poncha Springs!  
The space  
Our brand new vacation home was just completed in January of 2022\. The “Blue” Spruce Retreat is a fully equipped 1,900 sq-ft craftsman style home. It consists of 3 bedrooms, 2.5 baths, and offers an open concept kitchen/living/dinning area. Relax in our luxurious master suite located on the first floor which includes a fire place and 55” smart TV. The second floor includes a loft, office space, as well as two spacious bedrooms and second full bath. The home was designed with a zoned heating and AC system that allows you to control the temperatures for each level. It boasts of a 6-person hot tub and fire pit for enjoying your evenings after a day of exploring all of the marvelous outdoor activities Chafee County has to offer.  
Other things to note  
The home is located in the newly developed Tailwind subdivision in Poncha Springs. Walk to Elevation Brewery!

The house is absolutely gorgeous! I love the decor and it feels just like home. We enjoyed our time in the hot tub and the sauna relaxing after a weekend of skiing. This house was clean, comfortable, spacious, new, and well stocked. We really appreciated the AC and hard surface flooring, 2 things that help us to sleep well when traveling. It was conveniently located to drive to Monarch ski as well as rafting on the Arkansas River and enjoying a sunny afternoon on the river in Salida, CO.

Can’t say enough nice things about our stay. Lovely home in a great neighborhood. This was probably the best Vrbo we’ve stayed. From the quick responses to questions to little things like chocolates on the counter to welcome us. The home was spotless and we felt like it was our home away from home. If we ever travel back to CO we know where we want to stay!

#### Clean, Quiet and Great location

We loved staying here! Very very clean house! Fully stocked kitchen with great pots and pans, lots of spices available. Cozy beds and pillows, towels were plush. We didn’t use the hot tub but it looked nice and clean. Grill was wonderful and fun outdoor yard for kids to play. Super quiet neighbors! Overall the best Vrbo we’ve stayed!

#### Perfect Mountain Stay! 

This was the perfect place to stay in the mountains with our infant. Everything was super clean and quiet, making it easy to enjoy the hot tub or fireplace after we put the baby to bed for the evening. Raul was also super communicative prior to check in to make sure we had what we needed. Would definitely stay here again!

Very nice (nearly new) house in a nice neighborhood. Wonderful furnishings and design. We were 2 couples and a single- only one bath towel per person. we would have preferred a few more. We enjoyed all the amenities and both front and back areas.The Garage was very nice and added security. Upon check-in we had trouble w the August home-smart lock access despite blue tooth active on my phone. The owner was quickly accessible/responsive. I was not in the hot tub but was there at check out and could not find the thermostat (to assure it was 102). My family members enjoyed it! We would be happy to stay there again!

This was the best home I've every stayed in. The owners were extremely nice and welcoming. My family and i stayed for Christmas and to our surprise we drove up and could see a beautifully decorated tree from the street. The home itself was decorated very nice and very modern. There was no detail missed here by the owners. This place was packed with every amenity you could think of from tampons and band-aids to spices and laundry soap. Most places only provide you with fresh towels and dish soap. These owners went over and beyond. Even the outside of the home was inviting with front porch seating and decor. Now the only thing different from the pictures you will find is the yard has a brand new fence. Online there is no fence. This fence was definitely a plus as it is a huge hot tub and a seating space with a fire pit to relax. The home was perfectly situated so every morning i woke up looking right at the mountains. I will surely come again. You wont regret booking here.

#### Beautiful retreat near Salida

We wanted a place close to downtown, but with some space for kids to run around. This property was perfect. The owners were very responsive. The house was so clean and fresh. The owner instructions were clear and easy to follow. The kitchen was well appointed, and we loved the numerous towels for the hot tub. I can’t think of any recommendations for the owners to improve the property. It was great!

The house was excellent in every way. Five minute drive to downtown Salida; twenty minutes to Monarch Mountain. The lay out was perfect and all amenities provided. The house is new and very clean and had easy setup for our kids gaming systems. The hot tub was a big plus after snowboarding all day or hiking Garden of the Gods. The garage large enough to easily park a large truck. They truly thought of everything here. Will definitely stay here again if we return to this area.

This property was perfect, easily accessible, clean, a great location and was beautiful! The owners were intentional with how they set up this home in providing shampoo/conditioner, paper products, dish soap, everything we needed! It was the perfect amount of space!

#### Blue Spruce Retreat a Treat

Great accommodations for our family group of four. Great setup with an open kitchen, dining and living room. The whole house was new and immaculate. Had one question for the owners upon arrival and received an immediate phone response back. Great location for our family's outdoor activities. Highly recommend if you are visiting Chaffee County, CO!
