Ideally located within walking distance of Manchester centre or a short stroll to the bus stop or train station which provide frequent forms of transport into the city. This 2 bedroom house is fully furnished to a high standard with no detail compromised. If there are only two people visiting, please inform us if you intend to use the second bedroom. This is situated in a quiet square and is not suitable for parties Please be conscientious towards the neighbours. Parking for one car on cobbled drive is free. Large bathroom with a roll top bath & separate large rain shower. Services Include: - \- Free wireless broadband \- Linen and towels provided \- Flat screen TV in Lounge and bedroom \- Washing machine £5 charge to use including washing powder. The place was beautiful, spotless and very well kept. Loved the small touches. Nice quiet neighbourhood. We looked forward to coming back to the place after a busy day of shopping. Would return in a flash. If you don't have a car, the train is easily accessible (about 5-10 min walk). Only drawback is there is no shop or newsstand close by if you need to pick up something (there's a McDonalds). You will need to use a cab or uber most of the time, but it's quick and cheap enough. The picture of the pub in the listing is slightly misleading as it is just under a mile away. The house is very well equipped, although we had some issues with TV channels that would not show properly. Kitchen is well outfitted and open plan living on the ground floor is great for a group. Overall a really nice property I would recommend to anyone looking for a base to explore Manchester and the surrounding area. Very handy for Salford University and walking distance to Salford Crescent train station, too. ##### Chris D. Séjour de 2 nuits en avril 2019 ### 8/10 – Bien #### Ruth W. 25 févr. 2019 #### Lovely short break in Salford My husband, younger son and I stayed here for 4 nights while visiting my other son who is at Manchester University / RNCM. It is a lovely holiday rental and a lot of care has gone into making it welcoming and comfortable. It is very well equipped, warm and there is plenty of hot water. It is spacious and clean with fast and free Wifi. The location is brilliant and I think you would be hard-pressed to find anywhere else so quiet and secluded with its own parking space in Manchester, yet so close to public transport making it very easy to get around. It is right next to Salford University and an easy bus ride to Manchester University. It is only a very short walk to Salford Crescent station and relatively easy to drive to also. There were a couple of small negatives for us - we didn't find the king-sized bed very comfortable and the mattress made us roll together, and that might put us off going for a longer stay. Also, we have stayed in many holiday cottages, but we have never before been charged for using the washing machine and £5 seems quite steep especially as the tumble dryer wasn't working. However, to be fair, this is made clear on the property description so we did know it would be the case. The property was well appointed, clean and super convenient to major thoroughfares! Very comfortable and tucked in a quiet location. Yvonne was gracious and accommodating and our stay was wonderful. The home is absolutely beautiful and tucked in the corner of a quiet square adjacent to the University of Salford, an easy walk from the train station. It's tastefully appointed and includes everything a traveler could need; the photos don't do it justice. Our only disappointment was that we only booked a single night here and so wish we could have stayed longer. We were visiting the Uni of Manchester; if our daughter decides to enroll there we'll definitely contact Yvonne for future visits. Absolutely perfect experience. ##### Tiffany K.
