Super Handy
Bnb Barone has been a great choice. It is close to the sea promenade and to many amenities including restaurants, pharmacy and hairdresser. The owner, Enzo is super helpful and provided required info to move around the city. Water is available at a small fee (which is super handy) and room has efficient Air conditioning system. Great choice. Room is spacious and very well litten. Cleaning is impeccable. The building is very impressive.

Old world building quiet well located in Salerno. Room was spacious with a nice outlook over the harbour. Whilst most rooms have an ensuite bathroom, I mistakenly booked a room with an external bathroom. The owner was helpful in recommending restaurants around town. Surprised that breakfast was not included.

Great views and very clean
Historic building and on the 5th floor so a great view over harbour or town, both very attractive . The hosts are very friendly and the place is spotless. Coffee and croisant for breakfast and we were off to explore this interesting city. An idea stop on the way to amalfi coast .

Our stay was fine but as this was the only location that did not offer is our breakfast as we paid for. We were denied even sitting at the kitchen table in the morning to have our coffee that we purchased. We also asked for a napkin and we told no. The morning lady was extremely rude and was not polite there excuse was COVID restrictions Scolded us even for using the lift and always had something to say. Very disappointed.

Perfect stay 5 mins from Centro Storico
Barone B&B is the perfect stay just off the Amalfi Coast. It is a 5 minute walk from the Centro Storico and seafront of Salerno! Outside the front door of the property is a bus stop should you wish to travel to the towns of the Amalfi coast towns (Positano/Amalfi/Sorrento etc). Enzo is the perfect host and amenable with check in times within reason...the rooms are spotlessly clean and beds very comfy!

A nice, clean convenient place to stay
This is a nice place to stay to explore Salerno and surrounding areas. It is conveniently located by the port, where you can catch a boat to Capri or Positano. There are lots of restaurants within a short walk. The hosts are very friendly and helpful. It is best to communicate with them ahead of time to coordinate your arrival time and check-in. The room was spacious and clean. It isn't a 5 star hotel, but we didn't want that...so this place was perfect for us. I would recommend it.

Great view, great location.
This hotel has character from the outside to the old style lift going up to the 5th floor, rooms are very comfortable and clean. The view is amazing looking over the harbour, watching the pleasure,fishing boats,cruise and container ships. Enzo was amazing with his knowledge of restaurants, tours to take, how to get to places he would print out timetables, maps and even write down directions on how to get to places.He even helped us with sending packages back home ( too many souvenirs ). Antonella was great at breakfast for a chat ( helps having Italian background ) . Highly recommend staying at the Barone Bed & Breakfast.

Historic building, great comfort and charm
This was an amazing place, in an historic building close to everything with an incredible view of the port. The beds were so comfortable, with lots of pillows and lovely cotton bedding, everything was clean and lovely. Breakfast was nice, cappucino, juice and croissants and cereal or toast if that didn't fill you up. The 100 year old elevator was a trip! Excellent value for money and the owners are some of the nicest people we met in Italy. We would love to come back for a longer stay.

Quiet hotel, convenient to city, great staff
Excellent B&B in a charming old palazzo, Enzo and Antonella are fantastic. Views are good and the rooms are very clean. Close to city center.

Room decent but not the rest
Stayed here because of reviews. Sadly disappointed. The buildings is hard to find unless you’re walking and can look one unit at a time (no number on building) and a very decrepit entrance giving way to antique elevator system. The B&B itself is very old. Heart sank when we walked in. Host is very kind though and the unit itself had beautiful view out to port. The bedroom and bathroom are decent size and comfort. Location easy walk to old part of town about 1/4 mile away. Street parking available early evening but forget finding a spot after 6pm.

Wonderful rooms with great service!
Our stay at the Barone B&B was lovely. We had a room that had a magnificent view of the Mediterranean, and the included breakfast was absolutely delicious. The manager of the B&B was extremely friendly and gave us a map of the area, with tips for fun places to go and good restaurants. Overall a wonderful location that I would recommend to anyone.

Amazing location and hosts for a good price
Excellent hosts, Vincenzo is a very helpful and informative person, gave us good tips of where to go and what to do, I do not remember the lady's name, but she was also an incredibly nice person, that made us feel welcome. The place is immaculate and it is in a gorgeous building, a real architectural work of art, with a great vintage elevator and an amazing view of the sea. The centre of Salerno is only a 5 or 10 minute walk away, but the area isn't actually that noisy at all. Felt very welcome and very happy, and couldn't stop looking at the ocean view out that window. Incredible. Fresh pastry in the morning for breakfast, which is delicious - I'm more of a bacon and eggs kind of person, but that's the italian way, and one can't say it isn't tasty. Only thing I would improve would be the shower - could use some renovations, and not much pressure there. Very good price for the quality.

We enjoyed Salerno and Barone B & B, this was a great choice for accommodation. Within walking distance to the sites and restaurants. Enzo and his sister were great hosts, Enzo took particular pleasure in picking the perfect pastry for his guests. Quiet and clean. I would recommend.

Decent hotel horrible owner
Owner complained that we we're late for checkin and threatened to force us to forfeit our booking. My wife was hungry at 6am and helped herself to a portion of her allocated breakfast which again cause the owner to get angry and start shouting. There is a lovely kitchen but he hides the kettle away at night so no tea is available outside of breakfast. Finally breakfast is very simple and guests are limited to a single cup of coffee or tea. The owner even complained about giving us milk to go along with the cereal he provides! Decent place, ridiculously poor hospitality especially in an area full of lovely friendly people.

Very nice staff! Made sure we had breakfast even though we were leaving extra early! The rooms were nice. The surrounding area seemed a bit dodgey, but all in all perfect for a short stay.

Great location, Amazing Host, Gorgeous B&B
Adorable B&B, very close to sights, great host and beautiful room. It was comfortable, clean and the view of the water was wonderful. We only planned to stop in Salerno to take the morning train, but the evening we spent was a gem in our trip. We plan to go back and spend more time, and will definitely come back to the Barone B&B.

Nice b&b overlooking the port
We were there only for one night but Enzio treated us as welcome, long term guests and gave us great pointers on where to eat and the location of some of the best sights to see.

Stay in an historic building with a great view of the Tyrrhenian Sea from your bedroom window. Barone B&B is on the 5th floor of the building. Easy five minute/five euro taxi ride from the train station. The B&B is located at the edge of the old town Salerno area which is classic Italy. A very safe place to wander around or walk along the marina and docks. Friendly people always made us feel welcome and were patient with our language struggles. Mr. Barone was very kind and willing to give us local tourist information, history, and give us directions with a map. We look forward to staying there again. Great price!

Enzo, our host was a terrific aid to our needs. He took his time to sit down with us - he asked what we had hoped to do and then talked it through with us. Gave us the different options available. He also recommended places to eat. We followed his advice and I must say, we were delighted with it all. Breakfast is something Enzo does with style in his homely kitchen. Each morning he surprised us with different pastries and genuinely wanted us to enjoy them. Room nice and spacious, bed comfy and a nice and quite environment to get a good night's sleep

Great night in Salerno
The place was a bit hard to find( like most places in italy) but the instructions were clear. Enzo was famtastic and a great help, he gave us a map and recommended so fabulous restaurants. Would definitely return to Barone if i come back to Salerno.

Great Stay! Enzo is amazing!
I planned a last minute trip to Salerno for my last few days in Italy and I am so lucky I came across Barone! Enzo was so helpful for everything that I needed! It is in a great, safe location, right across from the port with easy access to restaurants, shopping and site seeing. It is only a 12 euro cab ride to the train station which is great when you are hauling bags but it is an easy walk when you are just going in and out of town. I highly recommend it and look forward to going back soon!

Nice View
This B&B has so much charm. The room (Aurora) was comfortable, cute and the perfect size with a beautiful view of the bay and a lemon tree just under the window. The breakfast room was like being in some one's kitchen with all the comforts you would need. I can't say enough about the host. His hospitality and suggestions were spot on. He suggested a wonderful restaurant and all we had to do was mention the B&B and the red carpet treatment came out. I highly recommend!!

Stayed one night. Owner very friendly. Very basic B&B but clean and well located in Salarno. Good restaurants within 10" walk. Parking is a problem and you may have to walk several blocks to the hotel. Great view of harbor from the rooms.

Super Preis-Leistungsverhältnis. Der Vermieter ist super nett und hilft wirklich bei Allem. Ist wie wenn man nach Hause kommt. Ich werde definitiv wieder hin fahren sollte es mich nochmal nach Salerno verschlagen.
