Douglas i know you were unhappy with your stay. Unfortunately we have taken the hot tub out of this location. As we explained Breakfast is not available at this time as well. i'm sorry that we couldn't meet tour expectations and i hope that you will give us a chance in the future!:)

I liked the size of the room and the amenities in it: microwave, refrigerator, small coffee unit. The staff were wonderful, very friendly and helpful. The one complaint I had was there were no real curtains covering the window, only sheers. So when the sun came up, there was no way to prevent the light from coming in.

The front staff was very patient, friendly and professional. I am a travel nurse and sleep is important because I work night shift. Checking in was effortless. The rooms are quiet even on their busiest days. There is no worries about parking. The property is clean interior and exterior. I would definitely stay here again.

So many drifters. Up and busy at 4 or 5 am. Elevator so slow, Obvious non travelers with Huge multi dogs. At one of my rides in elevator, door opens and I was met by 2 pit bulls, on a leash but owner unable to control the power of them. Owner yelled don’t look at them, they will lunge at you. What if I was a small child. Pool was full of kids screaming and yelling all day and night. As you walk into lobby the smell of bleach will knock you over. In the morning there were no coffee supplies including cups the morning front desk person said, night shift didn’t restock and no keys available. No bedding available for pull out couch. Never again would I stay there. So many horrid smells everywhere. This place needs a Bulldozer. Either you have the hotel for just Homeless or just travelers. Parking lot a obvious great place to sell most anything. There was a loud commotion in parking lot at 2 am, husband had to go down and make sure our car was as unharmed.

I stayed at this property several years ago and it has really been run down since then. I remember when Shilo Inn properties were always nice reasonable properties. This one however was noisy, the halls smelled, and the overall appearance of the property was poor.

When checking into the hotel we were told that we had to pay $100 security deposit after we had already paid for our hotel room via the website. Keep that in mind next time you rent a room from Shilo it is a $100 security deposit that they need just in case you damage the property and you have to pay it when you arrive that was very unexpected!! staff didn't fully explain any directions on how to get to our room. We had to Guess where to go. the front receptionist when arriving was short and rude with us. For my first time visiting it was not a good experience at all.

They came into my room while I was getting lunch with my family, I came back to my room with my door all the way open and all of my stuff missing, when I confronted staff about it they said we thought you checked out, we booked for 3 days. No one had a real reason why but all they said was thank god nothing expensive was missing… they comped me a night stay but we have to take all our belongings with us when we go anywhere.

It’s not like I’m the pictures at all it’s definitely a little run down. The beds were awful my back and neck hurt so bad so much so it would’ve been more comfortable sleeping on the floor. I could feel the springs and everything. Sadly the room smelled a little of smoke as well. The staff were nice and the room overall wasn’t bad but the beds are just not great.

There were a lot of homeless in area, it was old & kinda run down. There were 3 of us & they left 1 towel, 2 hand towels & 3 wash clothes. Also now bath mat. Had a King & a pull out sofa with 4 pillows that were not comfortable. Not the worst experience but definitely wish we had stayed elsewhere.

Do not recommend!! This old run down hotel was dirty, has an elevator that barely works and the stairs can only be accessed if an employee has time to let you in which they get very annoyed about. We had 1 towel to share between 5 of us bc they said they had no cleans ones left. Pool was disgusting, beds are hard, and service was horrible. Do not stay here!!!

First, the room was advertised as one king and one full size bed and a junior suite. The room had a king size and pull out sofa bed. Which when pulled out was stained, had objects in the bed, no blankets or sheets were provided but the yellow pee stains were the worst. The mini fridge had food in it. There were burn marks on all the tables and sticky gum like stains on the floor. The shower was gross and rusted. The elevator had a line to use and the stairway was locked. They only had one employee who upon my arrival, cussed when i asked to check in. When i complained about my room said she authorize a refund. Apparently, she wasn't authorized to do so and i was denied. I trusted the Shilo name but i have better rooms at a motel 6. Never again will i stay at a Shilo and strongly suggest no one ever stays here unless you done plan on staying the whole night.

HI, Tessa I'm sorry about the confusion with that front desk agent, I apology about the mix up. Unfortunately due to how you booked the room, it was a nonrefundable room. All junior suites are king size beds with a full size pull out couch. I do apology about your room not being as clean as the Shilo Inn standards are! The room you were staying in was unfortunately one that has not been updated yet. We do our best to make sure each guest feels as welcome as they do at home and are sincerely sorry you did not enjoy your stay. We will definitely take your concerns and apply on what to do better in the future! We hope you too welcome you back again soon:)

Room was large but condition of building was terrible considering the place has been under construction for almost a year. Front desk staff was good. But rooms were in dire need of help. Room that sleeps 4 but stocked for 1 person, needed to ask for many items. No breakfast only coffee, for coffee creamer you must wait at desk and request cream. We were advised for safety to park farther back. No stairs to lobby, must use scary elevator. Glad we stayed just 1 night, for the price you get what you pay for.

Difficult to find, doesn't seem secure
First complaint about this property is that it's really hard to find. Even though it is just off the main street, there are no signs or markings indicating what it is! It doesn't really look like the pictures shown here - there is no sign on top of the building. Once we chased around trying to find it, it was ok for the price. There are hurricane fences around the back of the property. It felt like a very sketchy area - we noticed a bunch of homeless people and drug peddlers close by. There is no food service or breakfast available nearby. The rooms were clean enough and beds comfortable, and TV worked, and shower was hot if you let it run a long time. The desk people were friendly enough, but didn't seem like they enjoyed working there. I don't think we would stay there again.
