Grill area for boathouse and cabin is shared and covered from rain. Each rental has its on firepit.We slept 3 adults, 2 in bed one in bunkbed. 2nd night I slept on couch. We only slept there and spent our days at the lake so it was a good stay for us. It was rainy/cloudy evenings so we grilled under covered grill area one evening and enjoyed that. Boathouse has porch with furniture but it stayed pretty wet due to weather while we were there so didnt get to enjoy that much. It is a small stay but what I excepted and over all good price for accommodations. Big parking area for boats, trailers, etc. Owner responded to any questions I had promptly. A/C worked great! Minutes away from lake. Park pass was provided that we did take advantage of. Park gets very busy on weekends and i suggest going in as early as possible. Friday we went in about 730 with no isuues, saturady we went into park around 830 and there was a long line to get in. ##### shanna w. The only problems we had was getting the bedroom to be the right temperature, and hitting my head on the entrance and in our bedroom. The pillows were a bit firm. My husband, myself, and our seven year old daughter stayed in this boathouse for a couple nights and we loved it! My daughter had so much fun pretending to drive the boat, and there was just enough space for us to feel like we weren't on top of each other. The outdoor space was perfect and large enough to lounge and drop all of our shoes and wet towels off before heading inside. The owner was so accommodating and reachable! The kids loved that we were in a boat house but could still have wifi and land. Perfect location for what we wanted we come to Devil's fork every year! We booked this little gem last minute since we were already taking our son to Clemson Baseball Camp Sunday so we decided to just make a weekend out of it and bring our boat and enjoy the lake as well. Can't wait to come back next year and enjoy the place, Mary left us with a goodie bag and Chilled bottle of wine to enjoy with our stay.
