Heated Pool, Parking. Villa Kalypso : villa de 140 m2 entièrement rénovée, avec sa piscine face à la mer ! C’est l’une des premières maisons avec piscine aussi proche du centre de Sainte-Maxime et de la plage (5 min à pied). Son emplacement est un atout majeur : séjournez à seulement 20 mètres de la mer ! Les vues sont totalement dégagées sur le Golfe et le village de Saint-Tropez, la mer en ligne d'horizon est omniprésente toute la journée... et cela depuis de nombreuses pièces de la villa, le jardin... la terrasse ou le balcon. Situation très recherchée : vous aurez l'avantage de ne pas utiliser la voiture pour rejoindre à pied le centre de Sainte-Maxime. La circulation dans le Sud étant élevée de Mai à Octobre, et les places de stationnement rares ou coûteuses, vous vous sentirez plus libres pour sortir vous promener ou faire les courses, mais aussi privilégiés de vous rendre à la plage en marchant. La première supérette est à moins de 3 min à pied de la villa ! Rejoignez en 5 min le centre et son quartier animé, typique et piétonnier : restaurants traditionnels, bars et cafés-terrasses, métiers de l'alimentation, épiceries, glaciers, boulangeries, vieux marché couvert ou ambulant, manège pour les enfants.. Cette villa entièrement rénovée par un architecte, se compose sur 2 niveaux, et dispose de 4 chambres 4 salles de bains et 3 toilettes. Elle est lumineuse et climatisée dans chaque pièce, et elle peut accueillir jusqu'à 8 personnes (+ 1 bébé). Les vues (mer, jardin ou piscine) de l'intérieur de la maison sont nombreuses. La literie est neuve et de qualité. Disposition des Couchages : 1 chambre avec un lit en 180\*200\. 1 chambre en 160\*200\. Une chambre avec 2 lits de taille 80\*200, placés ensemble. Une chambre dispose de 2 lits séparés en 80\*200\. Chacune des 4 chambres s’accompagne d’une salle de bains privative (douche à l’italienne, vasque et sèche cheveux), d’une penderie équipée, d’une TV, de la climatisation réversible et de stores électriques. Pour chaque étage : une pièce avec les toilettes séparées (qui ne sont donc pas dans les salles de bain). il y a un 3ème WC en extérieur près du salon et des terrasses. Le Séjour de 45 m2 (vue mer, piscine et jardin) comprend une cuisine américaine équipée : lave vaisselle, plaque à induction 3 feux, micro-ondes, machine Nespresso, machine à glaçons, four pyrolyse et 2 frigo-congélateurs.. Double service de table (réception et quotidien) + Emplacement alimentation. Dans le salon également : TV par satellite avec chaines étrangères. NETFLIX. Chaine HIFI, Bluetooth, WIFI. Jeux de sociétés, BD. La salle à manger est ouverte sur une terrasse de 36 m2 (vue mer et piscine), avec son store de soleil électrique et sa table à rallonge pour 8-10 couverts. Un barbecue type Plancha Krampouz est à disposition. Ainsi qu'un parking sécurisé pour 3 véhicules = une place dans un garage fermé + 2 places de stationnement. Sur place également : une Buanderie avec lave linge 9kg et sèche linge, table et fer à repasser. Un coffre-fort. Matériel pour bébé si besoin : lit parapluie avec matelas, baignoire, chaise haute. \+ un TERRAIN de PETANQUE et un BABY-FOOT en extérieur. La piscine (9,20 x 4,20 m) est chauffée sur demande, éclairée en soirée, et sécurisée par un volet roulant. Elle offre une vue sur la Mer et le village de Saint-Tropez ! Autour : douche extérieure, jardin arboré et ombragé, transats et parasols disponibles. Entretien des extérieurs et piscine : une fois par semaine, par un personnel qualifié. Alarme flottante supplémentaire possible (sur demande). OPTIONS et SUPPLEMENTS : 1) La piscine peut être chauffée sur demande, pour une température (du 1er avril au 30 octobre) à 28°C. Dans ce cas : un supplément de 150 Euros la semaine est à prévoir (paiement en espèces à l'arrivée). Elle ne pourra pas être chauffée du 1er novembre au 31 mars. 2) Pour un séjour de 2 semaines = Ménage de mi-séjour OBLIGATOIRE (réglé en espèces à l'arrivée). Newly renovated and in great condition, it had everything we needed to enjoy our stay. We were 3 families with 4 kids (3, 3, 1, 0) so it was nice to have a good place to hang out in the evening and cook and drink wine while the kids slept. There are 4 bedrooms of various sizes each with their own shower and sink and two toilets outside the bedrooms (1 on each floor). During the day we took the ferry to St Tropez (10 min walk to ferry) and walked into town daily (10 min) for fresh bread (and more wine). The pool and the view was incredible and paying extra to have it heated (May visit) meant we used it all the time. The only downside: 1) Having to pay extra for the 3 year old kids to stay as they were charged as adults. But that was clear during the booking so no starts deducted. 2) The internet was awful. There are 3 routers throughout the villa, but the internet speed was terrible. Unfortunately a few of us had to do some skype video conference calls for work and we weren't able to connect. Even sending/receiving regular emails was impossible. I couldn't even check in for my flight online. We didn't choose this villa for the internet though so I haven't removed any stars from this review. Overall a great stay and would definitely stay there again if we're in the area. ##### Ryan C. Truly great location with immediate access to the walking / jogging path along the Mediterranean which also leads into the center of Ste Maxime. We stayed here with our three young children and enjoyed the short walk to dinner each night. The Bateaux Verts are also within easy walking distance to visit St Tropez and La Plage Nartelle is a short drive. The pool offers a great view of the Med and is perfect for cooling off. We never ate inside and enjoyed watching the large yachts come and go from St Tropez. Check in and out was a breeze with Sylvie! We can't wait to come back! ##### Christopher F. We were very smoothly checked in and found a lovely bouquet of flowers awaiting us on the table, a cold carafe of water and a nice cool rosé in the fridge. The kitchen was fully equipped, spices and herbs included, which made cooking very easy. When outside you constantly hear the nearby traffic passing, but inside you don’t hear anything. ##### Véronique N. Arrival - private parking behind coded gate was very convenient. - key to get in front door was very difficult to use. Caused us to question if we were at correct address. The home is a duplex and address is not on door. 1st Impression - home was very modern and updated. Bathrooms and fixtures all new as were kitchen appliances. - The cleaning service was not very thorough with their work before we arrived. One bed was missing bed sheets ( later resolved). Floors were not swept and mopped. Couches were soiled with loose dirt. We mopped, swept and vacuumed furniture upon arrival. Yard - Amazing views of the bay. Home is across the road right along the water. Back gate gets you right there! - Outdoor furniture not high end but functional. - yard bushes needed trimming as it made the wall out the back gate difficult to navigate - did not use the pool. Needed vacuuming. - pool had very convenient retractable cover. Storage portion where the cover retracted needed cleaning. - Outdoor Lounge chairs also needed to be cleaned. Location - Best area to stay! Walking distance to town. Wali g distance to port for ferry service up and down coast. - Located before traffic volume area, made it very easy to get in out by car - Easy walk to convenience store for groceries. ##### Carlo D. Die Ausstattung in der Villa ist sehr umfangreich und die Zimmer sind alle sehr schön und gemütlich eingerichtet. Die Lage der Villa, zum Zentrum und zum Hafen ( 300 - 400 Meter), machte den Aufenthalt zusätzlich sehr einfach für den Weg zur Bäckerei, wie auch zu den zahlreichen Geschäften, Restaurants und Bars. It was less than a 5 min walk into town, where you could find plenty of shopping and restaurants. If you wanted to go to Saint Tropez, it was a short walk to the shuttle boat that ran frequently. We spent a lot of our time at the house as the view and lounging by the pool really couldn’t be beat. The property was at least as nice if not nicer than what is shown in the pictures. The only downside was some noise from the street but this couldn’t be avoided as the main road runs right by the water. Also most noise was drowned out by the sound of our kids jumping in the pool, so it really didn’t bother us at all! Overall, the property felt very private. We highly recommend it and wouldn’t hesitate to go back if we get the opportunity. It will go down as one of our favorite family vacations. ##### Carrie P. This is a lovely well presented property with a modern interior and a great view over the sea. Location is ideal being in a quiet area but only 10 minutes walk from a sandy beach and the pretty town which has plenty of restaurants, bars etc. We had two rental cars between us and there was private parking for both. There is a fairly busy road between the property and the sea but as the garden is raised above this it was not an issue for us. Overall we had a great time and would not hesitate to recommend this property. ##### Peter L. Pictures didnt show that there were now more lounge chairs by the pool, the new L shaped coach andgreat coffee table by the T V and tables outside and inside. Everything you will need, including an ice maker, beach towels, and even a gorgeous tablecloth. Tip: set a specific check in time we had a little confusuion when we arrived. It all worked out fine but would have liked it to be more concrete in advance. Tip2: ask where the dish towels are :-) the house is half of a building. We onlysaw the other renters two times in the week, only heading out in the car. 10 minute walk to centre of town. Es lief alles sehr unkompliziert und das Haus war auch sehr schön. Es war etwas kleiner als erwartet und zu Anfang nicht 100% sauber. Es war jetzt nicht extrem dreckig aber auch nicht 100% sauber. Großer Kritikpunkt das WLAN hat fast gar nicht funktioniert. Ich wollte zu dieser Zeit von dort arbeiten und das war leider überhaupt nicht möglich. Unten nur begrenzt WLAN und oben gar keins. Dafür gibt es leider ein paar Punkte Abzug. Ansonsten super lieb und ein sehr tolles Haus mit allem was benötigt wird. The road behind the pool/garden may be a little loud but it was not a big issue for us. One should bote that the address communicated is not the address by which one can access the house by car. This was a little confusing. Wifi signal was weak and the TV in the living room did not work. Saint Maxime is a lovely town with great restaurants and markets. The Villa was really well equipped so we mixed eating in and going out. Everything in the Villa is good quality and the pool was fantastic with the temperature being 35-40 degs all week. This brings me to my only negative which is that whilst the property has air conditioning it just wouldn't keep the bedrooms cool at night yet the living areas were really chilled. To be fair tho we did speak to Vanessa the very helpful manager and she gave us some options but unfortunately nothing worked that well so the rooms were around 26degs at night. It was an unusually hot week tho so we werent surprised it didnt work well.
