"This was a lovely property hosted by Marielle. We were in the upstairs bedroom but she had an elevator installed so it was no problem. The room (overlord room) had a direct view of the Bayeux Cathedral. It looked fantastic in the evening light. The room was rather overdone in the WW2 theme, but overall a very comfortable stay. It is literally across the road from the cathedral and tapestry museum with lots of shops and cafes nearby. The plus for us was laundry and an onsite car park"

"This is a lovely place to stay. Conveniently situated in a quiet street, in a village close to both Ouistreham and Caen, it makes a perfect base to explore the area. Our hostess was great: welcoming, helpful, funny and very friendly. The house itself is beautiful and our room was extremely comfortable with everything you could possibly need. The breakfast was plentiful and delicious…. the croissants were fresh from the boulangerie! Absolutely nothing negative to say!!"

Caroline was a wonderful host and went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable including finding toys for our baby to play with in the room and at breakfast. "It was a great place to relax and enjoy the hotel and countryside. I had the run of the house and kitchen. I felt like I was in my own home. I stayed two extra days and used the farm(cattle) as my base for circular drives in the area. Parking was in the courtyard and very accessible."
