This architect-designed house nestled in a green scenery was recently renovated to bring you all the comfort and privacy you need during your stay. A covered swimming pool is at your disposal as well as a pétanque court. Outside, several « terrace areas » have been designed for your comfort : a large garden table under the shade of century old trees, a dining area in front of the kitchen space with a stunning view over the Baronnies and a garden lounge for a moment of relaxation. The villa benefits of air conditioning and has 5 bright bedrooms with a private bathroom each. It also has 2 levels with outside access on both : GROUND LEVEL fully air conditioned The main entrance opens to a hall with a bench, a closet and a small storage unit before leading to the main living room of 90m² which is lined with bay windows on all 3 sides with access to the terrace surrounding the house. Whether it’s the panoramic view of the Baronnies from the kitchen, the south view with the wooded garden or the exotic patio on the west side, this villa is situated at the heart of the Provencal flora with no overlooking. This spacious room is divided into 3 very distinct open living spaces : living room, dining area and kitchen. You will also find 3 bedrooms on this level of the house : • Bedroom 1 (colonial) with outdoor patio Double bed 160x200 Private bathroom with Italian-style shower, basins and separate private toilet room. • Bedroom 2 (vintage) Double bed 180x200 Private bathroom with Italian-style shower and basin. A unique design from the ‘70s.. for the vintage lovers ! • Bedroom 3 (modern) Double bed 160x200 Private bathroom with Italian-style shower and large basin. • Separate toilet LEVEL -1 A staircase will take you to the lower level of the house (also open and accessible from the garden) where you will find 2 bedrooms, a laundry room, a toilet room and a secured garage. : • Bedroom 4 (Natural) Double bed 160x200 Private bathroom with Italian-style shower, a bathtub & a basin. • Bedroom 5 (children) 4 beddings 190x90 (2 trundle beds) Private bathroom with shower & again a spectacular design from the ‘70s kept unchanged that will without doubt charm young (and old) alike ! • Laundry room with sink and washing machine This level of the house (-1) isn’t air conditioned due to being naturally ventilated. Other amenities available : Wifi, pétanque court (with balls), Badminton set. Baby kit : 1 baby cot, 1 highchair, 1 changing mat, baby tableware. Non-smoking house (permitted outdoors), pets not allowed. We require 200 euros for housekeeping and exterior maintenance (lawn mowing, watering, swimming pool maintenance). This housekeeping charge is mandatory and include bed linens and towels. WHEREABOUTS The house is situated 500 metres (0.3 miles) from all local amenities (supermarket, bakery, …) and 2 km away from Vaison la Romaine’s city center and its leisure & cultural activities : Culture lovers will be able to visit the Roman ruins and the Ancient Theater where music and dance festivals take place all summer long. None has been better than this one. The online pictures of both the house and property are amazing but the reality of staying there was even better. The house is perfectly located on a small rise and gives you beautiful views east, south and west. The property is beautiful and well maintained. The pool and the boules/petangue court are in perfect shape. There are at least 4 comfortable sitting areas outside so you can always choose between being in the sun or the shade. The entire house is beautifully designed and well constructed. It was apparently built in the seventies. It represents the very best of architecture from that era and it’s been lovingly and carefully refreshed. The living, dining and kitchen areas are very spacious and furnished with good looking and comfortable furniture. The kitchen is fully equipped. All the appliances are good quality and function perfectly. The bedrooms are large and well furnished. The beds are very comfortable and the bed linen, pillows and towels were all good quality. And the bathrooms are spacious, clean, good looking and functional. Finally. The hosts. Spectacular. Friendly and helpful. Isabel is comfortable in English. They have put together the best “ welcome to our home” manual I’ve ever seen. In three languages. I don’t write many reviews and I seldom gush about a place. Sep 3, 2025 Liked: Cleanliness, check-in, communication, location, listing accuracy Wir waren insgesamt 9 Personen (2 Familien) und hatten einen sehr schönen und entspannten Aufenthalt in der Villa. Die Villa bietet enorm viel Platz und ist großzügig geschnitten. Die Inneneinrichtung ist sehr geschmackvoll und stimmig. Die Küche ist perfekt und komplett ausgestattet (z.B. riesiger Kühlschrank, Mikrowelle, Nespresso Maschine, Kaffeemaschine, Backofen, Herd, Wasserkocher, Toaster, etc.). Der Kühlschrank produziert sogar selbstständig Eis, so dass man keine Eiswürfel machen/kaufen muss. Im Untergeschoss gibt es sogar noch einen weiteren Kühlschrank, den wir ausschließlich für Getränke/Flaschen verwendet haben. Die Villa hat einen sehr schönen Pool mit ausreichend Liegen und Schatten und schönen Ausblick. Wir haben auch oft die Tischtennisplatte (4 Schläger vorhanden) und die Petanque Bahn benutzt. Die Lage ist sehr ruhig und doch zentral (ca. 500 Meter bis zum großen Supermarkt Intermarche und zur hervorragenden Boulangerie Marie Blachere). Es sind ca. 2 km bis zum Ortszentrum von Vaison-la-Romaine, wo es einen sehr schönen Marktplatz mit vielen Bistros und Restaurants gibt. Der Wochenmarkt ist immer am Dienstag und ist riesig mit unzähligen Ständen aller Art (Wein, Olivenöl, Käse, Fleisch, Fisch, Gemüse, Obst, Feinkost, Kleidung, Deko, etc.). Nach Orange sind es ca. 30 km, Avignon ca. 50 km. In Gordes und Roussillion ist man in ca. 1 Stunde. Marseille ca. 1 Stunde 45 Minuten. Jul 15, 2025 Liked: Cleanliness, check-in, communication, location, listing accuracy #### Belle semaine de détente à Vaison la Romaine Le séjour a débuté par une bonne communication préalable avec Isabelle et Yves, les propriétaires de la villa, soucieux de fournir un bon accueil à leurs hôtes. Celui-ci s'est fait avec de petites attentions bien agréables après une longue route sous la chaleur.La villa bien qu'à moins de 500 mètres d'un petit centre commercial accessible à pied, est parfaitement isolée, sans vis-à-vis et entourée de nature. Propreté impeccable à l'arrivée, la cuisine bien équipée et spacieuse , la literie de bon niveau. La disposition des chambres est idéale pour accueillir 4 couples qui auront chacun leur salle de bain, une chambre pouvant acceuillir jusque 4 enfants. Chaque chambre adulte est décorée suivant une thématique différente. La maison est sur 2 niveaux, tout le niveau supérieur ( salon/Salle à manger/cuisine/3 chambres) est climatisé. Le barbecue plancha au gaz est impeccable, très belle table de ping-pong, un vrai terrain de pétanque, et une piscine de bonne taille permettant les parties de ballon. A savoir cependant, il n'y a pas de pataugeoire , toute la piscine est à environ 1.5 m de fond. En résumé, une belle maison avec de beaux équipements pour passer des vacances à 3 ou 4 couples avec enfants avec de l'espace et de l'intimité pour chacun, dans un environnement agréable et en très bon état. ##### Thierry d. L'endroit est très bien placé, la maison très bien équipée et très confortable pour 4 couples.Le petit plus un grand garage avec supports de vélo ! tout est fait pour profiter. ##### Laurent T. La décoration est pensée et réalisée avec beaucoup de goût et d'attention. Tous les équipements sont présents. Nous avons également apprécié l'environnement très calme et en même temps à deux pas de toutes les commodités. Isabelle et Yves sont extrêmement sympathiques et c'est un plaisir d'échanger avec eux.
