Our property is a recently rehabbed 2-story townhouse and includes 2 bedrooms on the second floor and a full bathroom, kitchen, dining area and living room on the first floor. The property is 4 blocks to the beach, 2 blocks from downtown, across the street from Krasl Art Center, kitty corner from the St. Joe Library, and 3 blocks from Curious Kids Museum. There is a queen bed in main bedroom, a bunk bed in 2nd bedroom and a queen sleeper in living room. The location was great and we took advantage of being so close to downtown. The townhouse was clean, kitchen and bathroom are newly done. It was a cozy spot for our family, with the 2 of us plus our teenage kids. They did have to share a room with a bunk bed but they survived:) The mattresses were very comfortable and we all slept well. The only issue is that we got snow and there is no garage as the cars need to be parked in the back of the house. I would highly recommend staying here. The mattresses were all really comfy the newly-remodeled kitchen and bathroom, along with the big front porch were the best parts of this rental. Newer appliances, including a dishwasher and washer and dryer made life easier and got us to the beach quickly. As the listing photos show, some of the furnishings are dated and could use a refresh, but it didn’t bother us since we knew ahead of time what to expect. The main attraction is definitely the location. Many times we walked to the restaurants or shops or down the hill to Silver Beach, or just a couple of blocks to the bluff for a stunning sunset over Lake Michigan. The neighborhood of historic homes is a pleasure to get acquainted with and we always felt safe. We would return again! ##### Colleen W.
