We were very happy to share this beautiful Victorian mansion with you and we appreciated your business. Reading your review above made me very sad. I have spent a long time reviewing every possible aspect of your stay to see how we could have done better.I am sorry you found the parking to be difficult. On street parking does not require your vehicle to be moved. The parking at the school is free, and therefore anyone using it must comply with the times it is available so the teachers have somewhere to park when they arrive for work each morning. For on-street parking, occasionally it takes a time or two around the block to find a space for on street parking. I am sad you couldn't easily find a space on the street one evening. Had you given us a call, one of our staff who lives nearby would have come to assist you.In checking your arrival and departure dates, I see that two of your three days were on the weekend when you could park 24/7 free at the school across the street. I am sorry that the on-street parking on your third night didn't work easily for you.I apologise that you found the stairs difficult. They are beautiful, but as someone with mobility difficulties myself (I am also a senior citizen), I know they can present a challenge. We mention this in the email we send to you when you are booking. These Victorian buildings don't have elevators. Had you requested a main floor suite when you booked with us, we would have turned ourselves inside out to make one available for you, or let you know, if we couldn't so you could select another of our nine historic addresses. The following was included in your check in email which you confirmed you received:Mobility: Chipman Hill Suites is a collection of heritage properties. We do not have elevators. Please contact us immediately should you require a suite on a lower floor. We will do our best to provide a suite that best suites your needs.As for the bed being high, this is generally very popular with our guests, but had you contacted us upon arrival to let us know it was problematic, we could have easily supplied a foot stool to assist or changed your room to one with a lower bed. Again, we can't change what we don't know about. Generally people love our beds. I have taken your review very seriously as we work so very hard to ensure all our guests have a 5* experience here at Chipman Hill Suites. As part of my due diligence in this regard I have learned that you did not request a main floor room, made no calls to "on call" for any assistance with parking or anything else. I have gone over the information we send in advance of each arrival to make sure you had all relevant information. We always try to go above and beyond for our guests, and try to anticipate any issues which may come up. We always want to be fair with our guests and hope our guest
