If Fripp Island is your destination, then this is the house you will want to stay at. It is conveniently located a short stroll from the ocean and beach club, and is seconds away from the Marsh. It can easily accommodate large groups of people with spacious living areas. The house is newly renovated, and the kitchen is state of the art. The great room is an unbelievable space to entertain many and a view to die for. At the end of the day, you can even relax in the sauna located in the back ensuite! There is a shower to wash off the sand before going into the main part of the house. We include 4 amenity passes to use the facilities on Fripp with weekly rentals. Everyone over the age of 13 must have an amenity pass to use the amenities (pools, restaurants, etc.). Additional passes are available for an additional fee and must be paid for prior to your arrival. Summer rentals (June - August) are from Saturday to Saturday only. For holidays such as Labor Day, Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Year's rates and length of stay may be adjusted. Longer term rentals during the fall and winter will be considered. Our group was my mom 73, myself and 4 teenagers. We had hoped the teenagers would take advantage of the basement, but there was black mold on the ceiling and even teenage boys didn’t want to sleep there, so we all slept upstairs. Overall the property is absolutely gorgeous with close proximity to everything. The house was beautiful and extremely comfortable. The kitchen was well stocked. The host was responsive and reached out close to the checking date to confirm everything. There is beach access but it is a little of a hike from the entrance to the beach. However, that being said when you get to the beach it is basically your own private location. Absolutely beautiful! My only critique is the fourth bedroom was in the basement and it was very musty. The other three rooms were amazing. I would definitely recommend this house. ##### Evan J. The basement bunk room was room that we planned to use for my teenage nieces, but it adjoined the area where there was this outdoor shower and my nieces didn’t feel comfortable staying there. The whole basement smelled very strongly of mold. This was not made clear in the description of the property. ##### Leslie G. It’s large but a little chopped up. Everyone kept getting turned around. We enjoyed the large windows overlooking the marsh and the wrap around small porch. Unfortunately, the house was very dirty. Our feet were black after walking barefoot in it. Baseboards were coated with dust, and the basement was musty and moldy. Some of the sheets on the bed were dirty! There were a few rotten boards in the floor of the porch. The silverware was corroded and some of the dishes we had to wash before using. Overall, this house was a big disappointment, and we wouldn’t stay here again. ##### Debbie B. The house is clean and modern appliances. The furniture is very nice and the house layout is very comfortable. The downstairs bedroom, game room, and shower is a little rustic and a great place for kids.
