A bucolic setting nestled in a magnificent, unspoiled haven of nature and greenery, bordering woods and meadows (with peaceful Charolais cows as neighbors), adjoining the vast wild forest of Avaise, a protected ZNIEFF (Zone Naturelle d'Intérêt Écologique, Faunistique et Floristique - Natural Area of Ecological, Faunistic and Floristic Interest) for its rich ecosystems.
