For the Price, Cleanliness Needs to Improve

Overall, StayBridge Suites is an excellent hotel chain... and this particular one was in a great area. But the room they gave me (I believe it was 318) was just lacking. They charge a mid-tier price, but the overall upkeep (and quality control) that I witnessed just wasn't there.
First off, there were stains everywhere. There were at least 3 to 4 under the coffee table alone. There was a red punch looking stain next to the couch, between the couch and desk. Then there was a nasty looking one on the mattress of the couch bed. To make matters worse, they cleaned the room but failed to check to see if the couch bed had been used. Really? I guess the previous guest had let the bed up with all of the linens still attached (including their hairs). Had housekeeping checked the closet they would have seen that only the pillows were in the bag. I had to ask the frontdesk for new linens to replace them, and it took them a while to deliver them. I didn't complain too much because I was told that someone was out to lunch and the guy manning the front had to stay up there. That, and it was Valentine's Day, so I didn't want to ruin their evening.
