The property had dirty stairs and hallways. Room was old, heating unit didn’t work well, zero housekeeping. When I asked for clean towels I was told I needed to wait till 10am for housekeeping. I was not going to be onsite at that time, and requested for the towels to be delivered, it never happened, had go to the office the next morning, and the girl at the front desk finally gave me towels after rolling her eyes. There are crackhouses in better shape than that hotel, with better service too. Worst experience ever. I’m frequently in Sacramento while my baby is in the NICU at UC Davis, so I booked this hotel because it was close and cheap. Unfortunately, the room was dirty—walls, counters, and windows all had visible grime, and there was a strange smell. I also found multiple gnats and ants on our clothes and bathroom items, and the worst part was waking up to a roach running across the wall. After this, I checked the reviews and realized bugs are a common issue here. They also don’t offer refunds.
