The kitchen is well stocked and towels were clean and plentiful. As seniors and unfamiliar with Maine, the location is a bit remote although that seems to be common in Maine. We loved the house but the adorable second bedroom is obviously more suitable for children than a couple. One of us slept on the sofa which, fortunately, was comfortable. We loved the table set on the deck and enjoyed the fire pit nightly.We were looking forward to sitting on the balcony off the master bedroom, but the sliding glass door was not working and no furniture so we assumed it was in need of repairs. It also would have been nice to have a small A/C unit in the small bedroom as the ceiling fan was not able to keep it cool in the room. Any question, any request was responded to within minutes. Solely, the guest screening was a bit difficult for a guest from Germany as an address was requested but there was no possibility to add an address in Germany. So I used my American friends' address. We really enjoyed the house and property. The place is just lovely, clean, very well equipped. I wished to have more time to stay. The only downside were some of the towels that smelled real mouldy. But we managed to get rid of the malodour by using the brand new washing machine and dryer.
