"Best way to describe this cozy little place. We've stayed before & will book, again, next time we travel to Clayton. In fact, we won't travel to Clayton unless we can stay here. It's completely charming, close to the Boat Museum, an easy walk to the central shopping/eating area, and a long stone's throw to The River. Communication with the landlady is easy & thorough. Parking is a breeze. All photos posted are accurate & true. It's a charmer!"

"Spent a few days at Pillar Point cottage with my wife. The place was perfect! Beautiful cottage inside and out. Couldn’t get any closer to the lake. Private deck for cooking and relaxing. Picnic table to sit at and enjoy beautiful sunsets. The hosts were very nice and a pleasure to talk to. They were very informative. Giving us alternate places to launch our boat in the area. Also a good location. Close to many attractions and very good dining. Two 👍👍! Thank you for your hospitality …. ✌️"

"This Cottage was a perfect place to spend the weekend with my friends. From the enchanting path to the lake to the beautiful views from every window and lasy but not least the hosts were incredible, thoughtful, and just amazing hosts. The beds were a dream to sleep in and the kitchen a breeze to use. I honestly cant wait to be able to have an excuse to rent it again."

"Nice place. Very clean. Has everything you need. Owner was easily accessible. It's right on the water. Not far from 1000 Islands area. Beautiful views from property and inside cabin. The only negative I would say is the water has an odor to it. Water is pumped into the cabin from the lake. Owner was upfront about bringing bottled water, which I did. So it wasn't an issue for me but might be for others. There is a gas fire pit, but no campfires are allowed. This is in the rental...

"June 3-7, 2024 What an amazing few days here at the lake! We have used VRBO for many years and this home is definitely a top notch rental location. The photos are 100% accurate. Well organized, very CLEAN, everything we needed was there. 😊 The owner also has a binder of activities to do and local eateries to try. We went to Alexandria Bay and did a boat ride around the islands, toured Boldt Castle, and visited Tibbetts Point lighthouse. We had dinners at Snug Harbor and Channel Marker 243....

"We had the luxury of being the 1st people into the house following the kitchen and bathroom renovations. They did an excellent work on the renovations. We enjoyed watching the ships pass-by read books by the fire and cook in the new kitchen. Kids enjoyed playing on the hill and the beach, even with the River temp near freezing."
