Somewhere to avoid

Thankfully this wasn’t my first trip to Saas-Fee or I’d never go back… I’ve been going for more than 10 years and we have a place in the village but needed somewhere bigger to accommodate family. Topline… the place is well past its sell by date and the interaction with the hosts - Saas Holidays - wasn’t great. On arrival we had our apartment number on our booking and told the concierge on the phone. He said that he didn’t have the booking reference so as long as we had the number on our booking to enter the apartment. We then got a call about three hours later saying we were in the wrong apartment and somebody else wanted it. This is actually incorrect because we had that apartment number all the time on our booking it just so happens that another family wanted the ground floor because they were staying longer and it was going to be easier for them. Would be happy to change if we’ve known all of this, but we’d already left our things in the apartment and gone off for the day . During the day the property is very very dated shower enclosure very small and the shower pretty poor. The beds are not necessarily comfortable either. What really got me annoyed were the posters on the kitchen cupboard saying that if you didn’t put the cups away and leave the kitchen tidy you would be fine. Fr.75. There was also a fine for not putting all your rubbish in the tax bag which you buy yourself. As a final insult we were told to check out by 9am because they were busy!!!

Établissement bien entretenu. Ménage appart en apparence ok mais en profondeur pas du tout. Manque de chauffage 5 heures de temps. Appart mal chauffé le reste des vacances. 3 verres et deux coupes à vin pour un appart de 6 personnes. Bien situé et confortable au niveau du mobilier. Concierge au top.

Le studio est grand, bien aménagé et bien situé. Nous avons toutefois trouvé l'insonorisation insuffisante lorsque les voisins sont bruyants (enfants, musique et fêtes tardives) et aurions aimé avoir quelques basiques pour cuisiner (poêle, sel, huile de cuisson, etc.).

Ok si vous parlez Roumain...

Le pire check-in jamais effectué. Les hôtes sont injoignables (même Hotel.com n’arrivaient pas à les joindres) et lorsqu’au bout d’une heure vous avez une personne au téléphone, celle-ci parle à peine allemand, pas un mot de Français / Anglais / Italien ou Espagnol. Impensable en Suisse et en plus aucun efforts ! Par chance, une femme nous a entendu dans le hall et nous a indiqué l’appartement. Elle ne parlait que le Roumain. Lorsque j’ai appelé l’agent immobilier, il m’a dit dans un anglais approximatif qu’il ne pouvait pas parler car il ne se sentait pas bien. Je déconseille fortement !!

The person managing this property was very invasive. Visiting my house multiple times per day as well as watching the cameras excessively. Made me feel very uncomfortable, the property is also very far from city centre (20 min walk) Would not stay here again.

Unter der uns bei der Buchung angegebene Tel.Nr. war niemand erreichbar. Wir kamen um 23.30 Uhr an und mussten den Hausmeister anrufen, der uns freundlicherweise die Tür aufgeschlossen hat.
