Just pack your clothes and go! If you love beautiful, country living, on a awesome ranch, then this place if for you. If you find an open weekend when the cabin is not booked, consider yourself lucky! I foresee this place being booked a year in advance as word gets out and the reviews of 10/10 keep coming in! Andrea was right! San Saba/Lometa has beautiful property! We look forward to coming again!"

"Very nice and well located. Wi-Fi and tvs great. Clean and although didn’t check everything seemed ok. Bathroom sink faucets not working but it was to be taken care of. Online listing pretty accurate but check in at 4 instead of 3 and didn’t get check in info until a few hours before checking in not 3 days before that I’d read which led to anxious moments for me. Listing said sleeps six but only the bedroom bed and sofa bed. We brought a blowup air mattress which worked fine. Overall a wonderful place."

"My family and I loved the three days we spent at Artemis Ranch. It truly is a one-of-a-kind place, and Ty was truly a one-of-a-kind host. We found the perfect balance of adventure and relaxation, from hiking, exploring, and finding exotic wildlife around every corner to watching sunsets at the cabin and grilling over an open fire under the stars. "This is the room I reserved but they double booked it and I was given a different room and was told by text at 9am the next day, day of travel. I was told a would be refunded the difference but that hasn’t happened. I was told by text again that I would receive a call but never did. I was given a different room which was ok. The 2nd night the room would not unlock. Calls and texts went unanswered. Housekeeping came after I got hold of them after over an hour of sitting outside from 9pm till after 10. They let us in with their code. The host Sherri didn’t text back until 6 am the next morning just saying “lift up”. The next night at 9pm housekeeping was there and ended up letting me in again. This is a problem that needs addressed as it has been a problem in other reviews for the room I was given not this room I paid for. The lack of communication with the host is terrible. All I received were texts and a text 9 hours after being locked out is unacceptable. We will not be back nor recommend this place. We are moving to the area and needed a place to stay while we work on our new property. This was very stressful and I do know how to open a door. The lock needs replaced. "
