Relax in the lounge and take in the views of the marsh, where you can watch sheep grazing in the field and enjoy frequent visits from ducks, swans, and other waterfowl. If you’re visiting in spring, you might even catch a glimpse of playful lambs nearby. The historic town of Rye (3 miles) boasts cobbled streets, quirky galleries and antique shops, abundance of eateries and for classic seaside fun, Hastings is only 15 miles away. Roam the nature reserves at Rye Harbour (6.5 miles) and Dungeness (9.5 miles), home to a diverse array of wildlife.
