"It really is a very cosy and inviting yurt, with wonderfully eclectic decor. The owner made me feel very welcome, and it was fun to sit on the boardwalk in front of the yurt and listen to curlews. It is a short walk into the village for provisions, and there is a bus stop just a few metres' walk away. The road behind the yurt is a little busy in 'rush hour', but the position makes up for it. I haven't been to the island since I was a moody adolescent. It's lovely, full of variety."

The house was immaculately clean and the grounds were very well maintained. Would highly recommend staying here, couldn’t fault our stay in any way."

It was clean and tidy with great cooking facilities and the pool was lovely in 30 degrees! "We stayed at Middle Lodge for a week. Two adults with a group of 17 year old boys. The proximity to the sandy beach of Ryde and the grass fields were important. The boys could do their own thing and walk into Ryde town for further entertainment. The house was so well done up, clean and welcoming. I would only make two very small comments - a) the downstairs loo button got stuck each time the loo was flushed and needed a good wiggle to stop the water running, and b) a chair in each bedroom to put...
