Exceptionally clean. Friendly staff. Well worth the price. Close to many wineries. Only 20 minutes off Hume Highway. Rutherglen is a beautiful town.

Quiet comfortable location
Perfect location in Rutherglen opposite a winery and short walk to main shops/ eateries/ pubs. Rooms were well appointed, very comfortable and in immaculate condition. Owners Max and Sue were very friendly and helpful. Gardens, outdoor areas and pool were a welcome place for an afternoon swim, relax and a drink

Our stay at this motel was simply wonderful. Clean, spacious room and motel staff were friendly and highly customer focused. An absolute pleasure to stay there.

This is a great place to stay. Only thing missing is a restaurant as the dinner dining options in town are limited. Friendly, helpful staff but the winner was the large smart TV which meant you could watch anything you wanted. Keith

Hi Linda, You were our Guest with your partner for 3 days over Easter and we spoke to your partner numerous times and not once did he have a complaint to us ! He did explain to our Cleaners that he was sleeping in the King Single in the room because the Queen Bed was too small for the two of you , which seemed a bit strange ?? We are bewildered by your rating but we believe it says more about you than our 9.4 rated Motel.

Real Rutherglen experience
Wine Village Motor Inn has welcoming, informative hosts, a pleasant garden setting and is an easy walk to de Bortoli wine tasting and restaurant, the lake and the town. We had a well-sized end room with great TV at the end of the bed for watching the football. We really enjoyed our Rutherglen stay.

Perfect
Perfect place to stay, right on the main street, within walking distance to shops, restaurants and pubs. Motor Inn was very clean and modern. Grounds were in perfect condition and just beautiful to sit around in soaking up the atmosphere and drinking wine. Sue and Max were genuinely lovely people, willing to help in any way. Beautifully run motel with everything you need for either a short or long stay. Staff was welcoming and friendly. Usage of pool was great especially during those hot summer days. Conveniently located with a short stroll to the town centre. Highly recommended!
