"If you like Glamping, this place is for you! GLAM: feel like an elite on your own island! Enjoy the deck with sunrise, and the firepit with a sunset. Revel in the beautiful lux house and cozy cottage! CAMP: be ready for the unexpected and some inconveniences. I believe this place has immense potential – but needs some more TLC and fixes before it can be a true 5-star rating. Right now, if you know what you’re getting into, and don’t mind it – it’s AMAZING. Glamp it up and enjoy all the best aspects of lake life! We’re told this is the first year for them, and they seem to be dealing with start-up issues. While the property manager, Regan, is responsive, not all issues could be fixed quickly. It feels like the property owners bit off more than they could chew and were preemptive in putting this listing on VRBO, but we believe this place will be a true luxurious gem once it’s fully ready. We had issues with the filtered water losing pressure, so were left with well water for drinking for a few hrs. The HVAC changed on its own at times - and some of the vents pumped hot air despite being set on cool. The water heater errored out, but once reset, we had hot water again for showers. Once, at 4am, smoke detectors in the cottage went off for no reason with no way to reach them on the high ceilings. A few rocks around the firepit cracked and exploded when our fire got really hot. But, with every issue brought up to Regan, she was quick to respond and try to help resolve issues."

"The cottage was exactly as pictured on the website, getting to the cottage was extremely easy, everything was clean and we had all that we needed. They even went the extra mile and had small makeup towels for me. The bath towels were large and absorbent (which makes a difference when you normally get small white thin towels)! Most places we go to were within walking distance. Overall, this was a very pleasant place to stay and definitely a do-over!!"
