❤️ Seldom Inn ❤️ Adorable tiny cottage, close to everything! OPEN YEAR ROUND. Only 20 minutes from Mad River Mountain for winter sports fun! Great place to stay for fishermen too! Cozy is an understatement! Perfect getaway for small groups! Walking distance to Jack&Dos ice cream/pizza shop and Indian Head Bar & Grill. Close to all the shops & restaurants in Russells Point, Fox Island Beach, boat rentals. So much to see and do! House features HDTV w ROKU, High speed internet, Keurig coffee maker w complimentary coffee, microwave, refrigerator, oven/stove, fully furnished kitchen. This home is tiny, but full of charm and makes great use of the space! 2 bedrooms can comfortably sleep 4, queen sofa sleeper in the living room and an additional loft area that could sleep more if you don't mind cramped quarters. Home is located directly across the street from the lake. Relax inside w/ large selection of games, DVD movies, 4K TV w/ Roku (1000s of channels, movies, and TV episodes) or venture out and explore all Indian Lake has to offer! House has plenty of parking to bring your Boat/Jetski's/RV. Best location on the lake, steps from the water! Kitchen is fully furnished. Launch kayaks/canoes, go fishing, take walks, ride bikes, or just enjoy the lake views.

This small cottage packs a lot of character in one neat package. The house was exceptionally clean, organized, and well equipped for any needs a guest may have. Hats off to the host, who communicated quickly and with detail to answer the few questions we had. Its conveniently located near Indian Lake State Park, several bars and restaurants, and US 33. We especially love how ameable the host is towards dogs. We travelled with two dogs at 35 and 45 lbs, and the cottage was a perfect accommodation for both us and them to use the same space. Close to Indian Lake, Ohio Caverns, Mad River Mountain, and only an hour from Columbus, this location has plenty to keep you busy without too much of a drive. If you're looking for a budget-friendly place to comfortably rest your head, look no further!

Such an adorable cottage with older charm and updated amenities. Perfect little place to stay while in town visiting family for the holidays and bring our fur son too. Great coffee selection for those cold mornings and evenings. Host was very welcoming with great communication. Thank you!

Beautiful but very fragrant

Great little tiny home with everything you need. I was so excited about staying here. It felt very spacious and homey even though it was small. Unfortunately I was allergic to the heavily used fragrances. My skin was very itchy and I had a massive headache while inside. I contacted the host and she was very responsive. She told me everything was washed in Gain scented detergent and softener. She even offered to rewash some of the laundry to try and make me more comfortable but we were only there for 2 nights so I just slept in blankets we brought with us. Over lovely place. I would just recommend maybe using a free and clear detergent brand to accommodate people with sensitive skin or babies.

Girl's Getaway!

My daughter, granddaughter and I have been enjoying a few days away in the summer and our choice this year was great! Though small, it was a fun, unique 'home away from home'! Our hostess was very easy to communicate with and welcomed my 'granddog'! She provided doggie dishes and toys! The info of restaurant listings and Lake places of interest were very helpful to us in making choices!

Loved the lake area it hasn’t been ruined with commercial T-shirt shops etc etc. The Lake house felt historic and very comfortable. It made feel like I was actually at a lake.

Cozy Little Cottage

We loved our stay at this cozy little cottage. The host was wonderful and easy to communicate with. Everything one needs, plus fun extra items, were available. They even left us a welcome gift. And we loved that we could bring our Labrador with us as she is part of the family :) Would absolutely book again! Thank you for the kind and thoughtful hospitality!

We needed a place that allowed our pup. They not only allowed her, they had dog bowls, a tennis ball and poop bags for her. Made the visit easy. Great touches throughout the cottage. Owners were so helpful as we planned our trip. We will be back.

Adorable cottage

The cottage was clean with a well appointed style reflecting lake life. It was perfect for my stay with my dog. I had forgotten my dogs water bowl and I was delighted to find a set of dog bowls that was provided for our use. Another huge bonus was the ceiling fans in every room. Having the lake within walking distance was great for walking my dog.

Seldom Inn was exactly the home base we needed as we were visiting over an extended weekend. The cottage was cute, cozy, and clean, and the communication with the host was great. Although it’s not very big, the space was completely maximized and stocked with supplies to accommodate our family. It was lovely … and, we would stay again.

Very clean and well equipped house. Short walk to the new brewery and quick drive to town if you need anything. Owner was very nice to communicate with. Boat slip is out of the way of the waves which is nice.
