We saw wildlife and it was a quiet neighborhood close to town. The house and furnishings are in much need of being updated. Other than some very disappointing “cleansing bars” provided in the bathrooms, there were no other toiletries. The toilet paper was transparent. The house did not seem thoroughly cleaned when we arrived as we found pieces of candy wrappers and misc trash in various places on the floor. Although the shutters will open, the house is very dark inside. There was enough space for two couples to sit and visit in the living room and on front patio. We were never really enticed to use the extra external room. We did not cook and can’t speak to how the kitchen is stocked. Providing a few inexpensive easy items, removal of carpet on stairs and some TLC would perhaps help visitors overlook the dated home. ##### Michelle L. The only thing the dishes that was put up from the dishwasher was not cleaned from the last guest. This dishwasher is a little tricky once you press start it does not always start. So coffee cups, plates and silverware was dirty. You could see in the dishwasher it was not run. Egg shells on the kitchen floor and the trash in the down stair bathroom the trash was not emptied. Close to town but in a very quiet area. Porches are great and relaxing. The home is well appointed and had everything you could need. Eric was a wonderful host and was very responsive.
