Perched on a gently slopping hill, Axel's Place is overlooking Sierra Blanca peak. It boasts 4000sf of living space with magnificent mountain views from almost every room and amazing amenities-TV in every room, hot tub, pool table and wet bar in game room and more. Set on 1.5 acres this home offers privacy, tranquil relaxation and enjoyment of wild life- elk, deer, wild turkey and horses This high-end mountain retreat is a sophisticated blend of southwestern, rustic, Asian and traditional design. It has four bedrooms, two and a half bathrooms, an office and a game room. Axel's Place combines functionality, style, technology and views seamlessly. The house is decorated with exquisite stoneware pottery collection, fine china, oriental antiques and fine art. Step outside on the front patio and relax in comfortable craftsman rockers breathing in the fresh clean mountain air and feeling the mountain breezes brush over you. As soon as you walk in the front door you are immediately greeted by the warmth and the happy vibe of this home. The great room opens to 12ft ceilings with wooden beams (vigas) and two spacious living rooms with a wall of windows to showcase the breathtaking view, 2 fireplaces, 75" and 43" TVs, an acoustic piano and comfortable sofas. There are 4 bedrooms. To assure maximum comfort, all of them are equipped with high-end mattresses, pristine quality linens and night stands with USB portals. 1\. Master suite with a king bed, a 65" TV, private seating area with two recliners and a fireplace. It has its own en-suite bathroom with jetted tub, walk-in shower and walk-in closet. A doggy door gives your fur babies an independence and you convenience. (sleeps 2) 2\. King Bedroom with private balcony and jaw-dropping view of the mountain, a 55" TV, recliner and a queen size pullout sofa (sleeps 4) 3\. Asian infused bedroom with queen size canopy bed, a desk and a 40" smart TV (sleeps 2) 4\. Opulent 4th bedroom with a bunk bed- full size bed on the bottom and a twin on top, a 40" smart TV, toys, games and puzzles, perfect for kids or adventurous adults (sleeps 2) For those who enjoy cooking while away, you'll love the fully stocked gourmet chef's kitchen with custom granite countertop, top of the line cabinetry and a workstation stainless steel sink. The fully-equipped kitchen and pantry provide everything you need for your stay, dishes and silverware, cups and glasses, cookware including pots, pans, and utensils, spices. The available appliances include refrigerator with ice maker, microwave, gas range, double oven, dishwasher, toaster, blender, kettle, Cuisinart coffee pot, electric griddle and slow cooker. For the grill masters, you'll find a Kenmore gas grill (hooked to natural gas line) just outside on the back patio. The formal dining room and the eat-in area adjacent to the kitchen are perfect for entertaining with style. The airy and bright office provides comfort for those who study or work from home with FREE high-speed Internet and plenty of desk space. On this level there is also a second full bathroom with a shower/tub combo and a double vanity, an additional powder room and separate laundry room. Head downstairs to the game room with a rustic décor and electric fireplace and enjoy friendly pool game, darts or watch sports or a movie on 55" TV. A wet bar and a full size refrigerator in the storage area makes it easy to snack and chill your beverages. End your day soaking your cares away in the brand new hot tub perfectly situated on the deck and watch the sun fall asleep behind the layered trees & the sky glow wild vibrant colors while "touching the stars and kissing the moon" The side and back yard are fenced in and provide areas for your fur babies to romp and play. You can also join them outside playing lawn games- Corn hole, Yardzee, Jenga, Bocce ball. The long paved driveway can fit 5-6 vehicles. We were there to celebrate my husband’s 70th birthday with family 😊. The property was exactly as advertised,which made it quick and easy to plan for bedrooms. The decor was pleasant and peaceful with very comfortable beds and seating with 3 separate gathering spaces. A nice game room downstairs with pool table and outdoor games available. Every room has beautiful views of the mountains. There are 2 eating areas (breakfast and dining) and kitchen had everything we needed to prepare meals there. There are grass areas outside and the kids enjoyed playing outside. The neighborhood is quiet and beautiful. I can’t imagine a better place for our family to spend time together! Our group of 8 absolutely loved our 4-night Spring Break stay at Axel’s Place! It was sparkling clean when we arrived and the rooms and decor were even nicer than in the very nice photos on VRBO! We had three dogs who loved the backyard and side yard, the dog friendly blankets and towels and the dog food bowls. Our teens and adults enjoyed the pool table downstairs. The adults also loved the big tv and sound system in the main living room—perfect for karaoke! (We brought our own mics!) We cooked in two nights and the kitchen was well stocked and spacious. This house has everything you need. Host was absolutely incredible with communication before during and after our stay. We loved it so much we extended our stay. Nevena worked with me on our last minute booking and made it happen. We travel to Ruidoso often and Axel’s Place is the best by far. It was perfect for our dog too. When we left, we forgot one of our valuables. Nevena went above and beyond to make arrangements for our friend to pick it up. If you are looking for an upscale place to stay, look no further than Axel’s Place. You will not regret it. Wonderful amenities and Nevena is the best to work with. Our stay at Axel’s Place was exactly what we needed to escape the Texas heat. The house was very comfortable, the sunsets were beautiful and the wildlife entertaining for us and our lab :-) This is a quiet neighborhood and close to shopping and great restaurants. The property owner is super helpful and quickly responded to any questions that came up during our stay. The home is even more beautiful than the photos! The bedrooms are spacious and there is plenty of room for everyone. It was nice to have a secure yard for our dogs to play in. The neighborhood is very peaceful with the occasional deer and elk! The common areas are great for family and friends. This trip we had friends staying at another property over for dinner and drinks which was easily prepared in the large kitchen. Our family enjoyed the many activities that Ruidoso has to offer with easy access from Axel's place. Our pups enjoy themselves as much as we do ! So extremely happy we decided to choose this house! Everything about it was perfect...from the location and amenities to the cleanliness and decor! We had everything we needed to be able to experience a fun filled and relaxing vacation! We did reach out to the owner once about the discrepancy of the temperature in the 2 sides of the house, but communication was extremely quick and helpful. The home was spotless and has a great kitchen. Good wifi and TV's had cable and internet so everyone was happy. Outdoors we had deer all the time and Elk on occasion. The home is close to downtown Ruidoso so shopping and restaurants are close. For seniors the only issue is steps to all doors' but the rear steps were short with a great railing so our 87 year was able to navigate it with out issue. I would recommend ##### Rhonda T.
