Very cozy as indicated. The beds are very comfortable. The bedrooms were warm until the early morning hours. We found one box fan that helped in 1 bedroom but could really have used another for the second bedroom. Ceiling fans would be a great upgrade to this property in the bedrooms!! The hot tub was great! We did not cook or grill but it appeared to have decent accommodations. Quiet neighborhood until some guests came in next door with two large dogs that spent a lot of time outdoors and barked! We saw deer and elk. Lock was seized up we can only guess from weather. So, we couldn't use it. Also, ac unit digital control was on lock. We couldn't use it either. The management company did send someone over to look at it however he could not fix the problem and assured me they would compensate me for the inconvenience however after 2 times asking, I was never given any sort of discount or credit. They also did not have a can opener which was also an inconvenience when I was trying to cook. Hopefully they have placed one in there since our stay and also replaced or fixed the oven. One perk was the brand new washer/dryer on site which we used throughout our stay. The outdoor hot tub was awesome except they overdosed a bit on the chemicals because it did burn our eyes and skin upon getting in. The spa did not have a lot of privacy because it is situated on the front porch so you can see traffic on the road but it is fenced in. Had everything we needed and when we did have to reach out for a few things we needed Cozy Cabins was right on it. Great time! Our family very much enjoyed our stay at 2nd street retreat. The cabin was just perfect for our family of 5, with the best beds on the planet! Seriously, they are absolutely amazing. The kids enjoyed exploring the woods around the cabin, and the hot tub was a very big plus for us. We felt very safe during our stay. It had everything I needed I felt like I was at home. My mom loved the bed she slept in she was so content as well as myself. I wanted my mom to be happy and she was more that happy. My mom has Dementia and I want to do as much as I can before she declines. Thank you so much! I wish I could remember who I spoke to she was so helpful and kind.
