"Front desk was very nice. Actually most of the staff the staff I encountered was great. However, on several occasions the staff was out in front/side of the main entrance smoking which made it unavoidable to exit or enter the hotel without encountering smoke. I’m asthmatic snd smoke triggers an attack. If they could take the smoking to the back of the property, or an area that is nowhere near the main entrance, this would be ideal. Aside from that, they get 5 stars. "

"We always stay here when we are in Durham for hospital appointments. This hotel is convenient to the hospitals, eating establishments, gas station, drug store. Not far is grocery also. "

"I have never been to this La Quinta location and I absolutely love it. It sits off the road get still close to everything as well as it’s by the railroad tracks which I thought was beautiful. The pool was nice and clean towels were offered, and there were parking stickers all of which I truly appreciated. We didn’t stay long, but I’ll stay was perfect. The beds were great. The room was very nice and I love looking out of the window to the courtyard. My cousin and I will remember this location the next time we visit relatives in Durham."
