This tranquil property offers a perfect blend of country living and convenience, with chickens and sheep grazing on the farm, and a variety of fruit trees available for guests to pick from when in season. The beautiful Mangkakahi Stream borders the property, with a lovely walking track that winds through the natural landscape, offering a serene setting for a peaceful stroll and the chance to spot a trout. The Space: The main house features three spacious bedrooms and two modern bathrooms, providing a comfortable stay for families or small groups. Just a short 20-metre walk from the house is a cozy cabin overlooking one of the paddocks, offering two additional beds for extra guests or those seeking a little more privacy. For added flexibility, the garage has been transformed into a fun rumpus room complete with a sofa bed, TV, and its own separate bathroom and toilet. It’s perfect for a bit of extra space or for kids to enjoy their own area while adults relax in the main house. Whether you’re soaking in the serenity of the farm, exploring nearby Rotorua, or relaxing in the comfortable spaces of the property, you’ll enjoy the perfect blend of rural charm and modern amenities. Book your stay and experience the best of both worlds! Guest Access: The Homestead is all yours to enjoy. There's another cottage on the front of the property which you'll drive past as you make your way to The Homestead but the houses are very separate from each other. The Neighborhood: The Homestead is situated in Pukehangi, a residential area just 10min drive to the city centre. The Paradise Valley Springs Wildlife Park is just 7km away where you can see all manor of wildlife including their lions! Overlooking the farm is the stunning bush-covered Mt Ngongotaha which can be best appreciated by walking the Mt Ngongotaha Forest Loop or Jubilee track, both of which start from a carpark 5 mins drive from the farm. For a more adventurous option, you can also walk by foot following the tracks that circuit the farm to reach Pukehangi Rd and a short 1kmh walk along the road to the carpark For thrill seekers and mountain bikers, the Homestead is a short bike or drive away from Skyline Rotorua, Rotorua’s famous home of the luge, skyswing, ziplines, gondola, MTB Park and Stratosfere Restaurant. Getting Around: Given the location of The Homestead at 22 Diamond Street, 3015 Rotorua, New Zealand, we suggest using your own vehicle for transportation. Complimentary parking is provided, both on the property and on the street. Public transportation isn't readily available in the area. The Rotorua Airport (ROT) is a short 15-minute drive. This allows for easy access to the local attractions and surrounding areas, ensuring you can explore Rotorua with ease.
