Unfortunately the weather was not good enough to spend time on the nice place outside. The beds were nice and soft but for us too soft. However, when we walked into the house there was a slight damp mouldy smell in the house. We booked for six people but one of the guests had an asthma attached as a result of the mouldy smell they were unable to stay at the house. We had to book alternative accommodation. We paid for 6 people at the house and only 4 people were able to stay. As a guest had travelled from the UK to visit us, this spoilt our stay unfortunately. The house was mostly clean however the bathrooms need better cleaning. Without the damp issue, this would be a 4-star rating. ##### Gary B. But ultimately it was the very strong smell of rotten eggs that put us off, as they get the heat from a thermal bore hole. We weren’t prepared for the smell in the area of Rotorua so that didn’t help. But it was very strong around this property. We asked to be moved and InnList team kindly moved us to another property a few streets away. The smell was evident now and again at this one but nowhere near as overwhelming. ##### Caron M.
