With a design that makes the kitchen, great room, and dining room the heart of family life, 10' walls combined with voluminous 12'-16' ceilings define the main living area creating a space best described as 'spacious but not ostentatious' with style characterized by thoughtful attention to symmetry and proportion. From the moment we booked, we found Dustin extremely easy to communicate with, even given the time difference from the UK to the US. The pool is amazing and was the perfect temperature during our stay and offered welcome relief from the heat of August. Although we were a party of 8 adults and were well catered for, I would certainly say that the property would be perfect for families with young children too. The property was perfectly located for us to go out and about exploring the gulf coast and enjoying all the wonderful beaches and restaurants the area has to offer. Our son got engaged whilst we were here on holiday at the property and we all have so many special and precious memories to cherish. The house was more than we ever imagined. No need to ever leave the property because the house had so many incredible amenities. The best was being able to cheer on the Boston Celtics and watching them win the championship from the pool. We also enjoyed the outdoor kitchen area where we had family dinners. The pool was amazing! We paid a little extra to have it heated, since we stayed over the Christmas/ New Year’s holiday. So relaxing! The beds were comfortable and the water pressure was great! The Alexa’s throughout the house helped to make it technologically advanced. We appreciated all of the details throughout the house and the chef’s kitchen and outdoor grilling kitchen. This home is excellent for all ages. The owners replied to my few questions quickly and were awesome communicators. The pool area is where we spent majority of our time. You have the best sunset view from this home! I would recommend this this home to everyone. The only downside was there were no fitted sheets for the pull-out sofa beds in the house. Luckily I have family near by that come through in a pinch. I would definitely stay at this home again. The beds were comfortable and kitchen was well stocked. We spent most of our time on the lanai—we loved the pool, the outdoor kitchen, and the outdoor couch/TV area. We saw an alligator in the canal daily—our kids named her “Allie.” The primary bath tub was also a favorite! Lots of R&R. Great Rotunda location close to beaches and shopping. Outside bbq / social area was a standout feature. High tech Light switches took a bit of getting used to - but probably more down to us! We hired some bikes and enjoyed our morning rides. If you don't know the area; the excursions we really enjoyed included Gilchrist Park and Fishermen’s Village in Punta Gorda, Boca Grande and walk around lakes at Broadmoor Park in Rotonda West itself.
