Nice place. We only wish we could cool off the room. Bedding was too thick to use. Wonderful breakfast.

The beach walk was so relaxing, The trail was accessible from the patio. The staff was so helpful and helped me in English which was super convenient. Breakfast was excellent and they even made me a to-go breakfast when I had to leave early (before breakfast started) to make my flight. The boxed breakfast came in so handy while I waited in long lines at the airport.

I stayed in 4 Comwell properties on a recent bike trip. They are all too far from town and offer very little in the way of services - other than their own restaurant.

Thank you very much for your feedback after your stay in connection with your cycling tour. We have several hotels where the location is more in the center of the city: Aarhus, Odense and Aalborg. From our hotel in Køge, it is just 10 minutes by bike to the centre of town - walk only 20 min.We wish you a continued good trip.

business stay in Køge
Business stay, warm welcome and easy check in. Hotel has had a refurb recently, and the rooms are comfortable, including very comfortable beds. Excellent shower, nice bar area too.

Clueless customer service, avoid this resort
This was a travel disaster! We booked this resort for one night and had been driving all night to get from Netherlands to Denmark. Once we arrived around 3AM the resort didn’t have a room for us. They had rooms but they decided not to respect our Hotels.com reservation. Instead they offered to pay almost double the price to stay there. Poor job on taking care of your guests! Gladly Hotels.com rerouted us to a better hotel in Copenhagen city center and all ended well.pricing

Great hotel, close to beach
A two-storey hotel without a lift. Easy check in, reasonably large, comfortable room which was very clean. The room promised a balcony with sea view, and delivered - I guess about 700m to the beach with an easy path. Cows were grazing in the field separating hotel and beach, and in the early morning there were a few hares - nice little bonuses when relaxing.

Nice place, but made a bad first impression because during the check in.» We would be charged for extras if we got rom with view and DK 100 per hour after check out time at 10 in the morning, even that this was holy day and day-off for everybody. , because it was a Monday.

I hope to be back
We arrived late a Monday evening and was greeted by a receptionist with a lovely smile. The rooms was spacious and bright, with a little terrace in front. The bed was more comfortable, the breakfast was amazing and the gym was an extra bonus

Great end to end experience
Excellent end to end experience. Great location -- get a room that faces out to the water for the best view. Make sure to walk around and enjoy the trails. Bike rentals make Køge center a minute away, or a short walk otherwise. Good now, great once they finish the harbor renovations.

very good hotel
Excellent hotel, very helpful staff, best location few minutes walk from beach. Only down side was no air con in the room, which they probably don't need most of the year as it never gets that hot as this time, also my room had no wardrob which would be nice if i had one. Overall stay was very good I had good time.

Thank you for your review. We have had the hottest summer ever in Denmark, so we can understand you were bothered by the heat, but as you write, we almost never lack aircon. We have furnished the rooms open and minimalist, with open cupboard environment, to allow as much space in the room as possible

This is a One-Night Stop Hotel
We went in a large party for a cricket tournament. As you know, last week in Europe was very hot - and this hotel has no airconditioning. Bedrooms were like ovens. My single bedroom was v small, the bed was comfortable: the shower was good: but there was no wardobe, no drawers, no safe - nowhere to put anything in fact. I had to live out of the suitcase. In my case, bedroom to main hotel building was about 80 meters. Reception and staff were helpful. V limited sitting space in main hall/atrium. Tiny bar with big prices. Breakfast disappointed most and was we thought aimed at tour travellers stopping for one night. At the price they chatged per night B&B this was all very disappointing

Nice hotel near the beach
Nice location close to the beach. We enjoyed eating supper outside on the patio. It was easy to get to town the next day.
