The room was tight on space but clean. The walls need better sound proofing but was acceptable. The pillows were too fat and everyone in our family had trouble sleeping on them. Halfway thru the nite, we gave up and tossed them aside. ideally they would have been thinner for "back sleepers" or alternatively since each bed had four pillows, maybe a better option would have been to provide two fat pillows for side sleepers and two thin pillows for back sleepers.
This is far from a "Hotel and Spa" like the name would have you expect. There's no actual spa for treatments, and the outdoor spa isn't working. The breakfast was the same 3 days in a row: eggs, sausage, biscuits and gravy. They also have a waffle maker, yogurt, and bagels/toast.
The room we stayed in was nice. No stains, linens were clean, bed was very comfortable. Came with a microwave and mini fridge.
Hotel hallway carpet was dirty and stained. Front desk staff were courteous enough, they didn't care to ask if we enjoyed our stay. The grounds need upkeep. This hotel was probably really nice years ago but it's nothing special to write about now. Don't expect much and you won't be disappointed.
Because a power outage took down the hotel's ability to create key cards, the staff had to escort each guest to their room to let them in-- every time we had to go in or out of the hotel. Every staff person I met was friendly, cheerful and helpful despite having to work through this challenge on Christmas Eve. The hotel itself was super clean and comfortable. I'd definitely return to stay here again.
