I was expecting a pleasant a 7 day stay here at this hotel based on their claims of being the most luxurious hotel in the area. The management seems to be focused on trying to make as much money as they can from their current guests rather than customer satisfaction and future returns.

Okay stay but definitely could've been better
The stay was ok. The rooms were a little small. I actually got food poisoning from their breakfast (garlic fried rice), after that I just had toast and coffee. The staff was very helpful and had an upbeat attitude.

Superb gardens that are well kept. The setting is great and I will return. Food ok but the breakfasts shoud be served hot. WiFi fast in some rooms. No WiFi in others. Good for families and events but needs improving for business travellers. Need more power points in rooms and outside.

Safe and Enjoyable
I would definitely recommend Mount Sea Resort. Clean and modern rooms. Safe. Good food at the restaurant. Quiet and peaceful surrounding. I would. Will definitely go back.

I LOVE YOUR STAFF THE LADY,S ARE SO POLITE , THE MAN ARE TOO ,I WILL BE BACK , BUT i THINK THEY SHOULD CLEAN THE BEACH FROM YOUR PROPERTY IT WOULD BE NICE TO LAY THERE AND TAN AND IT WILL UP GRADE YOUR RESORT A WHOLE LOT ,PUT A FENCE WERE YOUR PROPERTY ENDS FROM ONE SIDE TO THE OTHER AND THAT WILL BE SO NICE

We are glad to know that you enjoyed your stay here, however beach are not really accessible and we do not offer it to Mount Sea guest but since shoreline appears at the beach area we will suggest it to the operations. The resort is very nice and pleasant. The only problem we had was the room service forgot the small towels twice in our week stay. They also clean the rooms with the door open so when you come back to your room there are mosquitoes in your room.

The pro's the room was very clean, large and the pool was amazing . This is a small resort but my stay was very peaceful. The staff was very helpful and professional. The only con's I can see is transportation to and from the resort as if you are coming from Manila the crab's / Taxi do not want to take you so far. You will need to hire a driver there is no taxi that far out to return back. if you don't have so much luggage you can take a Tricycle / Jeepney.

Good choice for the area
The resort is good for the area, and moderately well maintained. Several things could be improved on to add a lot to the quality of the experience. Transportation from the resort is an issue so be careful.

For the location, hotel was nice and convenient. Nice grounds, clean, landscaped and nice touch with the peacocks and the rare birds. 3 story hotel but no elevator. Hotel had bar, very poor selection in alcohol. If you want hard alcohol, you had to buy the entire bottle. Also, very poor and cheap wine selection.

Nice property that has recently been upgraded and refurbished. Beds a bit hard for my liking, shower and toilets adequate but cramped. Restaurant ok, Chinese and Philippino food on offer, breakfast limited and small. recreational facilities nice, good pool. Location is in the middle of nowhere !!

The property has no management onsite. The two resort room we were promised were not available when we arrived. While a majority of staff were friendly and personable you cannot talk or meet with manager for this the property. This property has major pest issues and does not appear to have any kind of regular pest management in place to manage bugs... in our case the issue was mosquitos (literally thousands of them everywhere including our rooms) and the the threat of the dengue virus. Our 88 year grandmother was severely bitten all over as well as ourselves! Do not stay at this place ever!

Check in is good although we came it quite late. They had problem finding my booking but did gave us the room for us to rest. Check out is quite bad... waited for almost 2 hrs to check out. Room is nice, near the beach, bfast is ok.

The hotel have good amenities such as Restaurant, swimming pool, KTV room , Billiards and Sauna. Location is good and accessible market, mall are just nearby by you can take jeepney or tricycle less than 10mins for only 10pesos/person. We enjoyed our stay

The bed was old, smells like cockroach, too many mosquito. Not enough toilet paper and the water shower was broken. I was charge higher than the internet has offered.

The hotel seems to not be managed very well. I asked to speak to the manager. I waited, but the manager never came. The front receptionist kept going to the room behind her to obviously speak to the manager about the numerous issues that I encountered at this location. However, the manager would never come out. The pool is nice, but hardly anybody can swim in it because they basically want you to swim in nylon underwear. I had several pairs of swimming trunks, but none were accepted. However, they told me that my polyester underwear was fine to swim in! The food was not good and the service was bad at the restaurant. The wifi was bad and spotty. The only good thing about this hotel is that it is very clean. I rented 7 rooms for a large family outing and nobody could swim and the basketball court needs to be maintained better.

Old hotel, partially remodelled
We checked in and no one told us where to go. We ended up carrying our bags all the way to the other side of the facility before getting directions from a waitress in the coffee shop to our rooms. There's no elevator, so we had to carry our bags up 3 flights of stairs. The room was not the one the hotel showed on their site. It barely had hot water, wallpaper on the ceiling, curtains that let all the light in, thick, hard pillows, no blanket (just a sheet) and the water coming out of the shower tasted of salt. In fact the soap and shampoo refused to lather.

ISOLATED IN A BAD NEIGHBORHOOD
First, the hotel is in a questionable neighborhood and you will not be able to step "off property" and feel safe. Second, the statement that "all rooms were renovated in April 2014" (or something like that) is blatantly false: when we showed up there were no rooms in our class available on the first floor because "they're under renovation." Since there is no elevator we would have had to climb six flights of stairs to get to our room, and we're passed the age where we can easily do this. The staff was uncompromising when it came to allowing an upgrade due to their "renovations" (so we did not have to climb so many stairs) so we cancelled and left. That's when we discovered there were no taxis available in the general area and they had to call for a private car, which is, of course, more expensive. SPECIAL THANKS TO HOTELS.COM FOR HELPING US GET OUT OF THERE!

We were in the old section of the hotel wich need renovation, but they renovating the rest of the hotel. all the staff were very nice and helpfull, at the reception desk and even in the restaurant where the food was very good. every body was very nice also with our 4 year's old kid. the swimming pool offered a good playground for us and our son with plenty different size of slide

I stay here at least twice a year to visit my girlfriend. Every time I enjoy the food and the pleasant location and well kept gardens. However, these rooms simply need re-furbishing. Electrical sockets are in poor condition/not working and the phone not working this time also. WIFI works better than 1 year ago. I will come up, hopefully to see these improvements.

Nice hotel with beautiful grounds and generally excellent staff. Some confusion and lack of flexibility when you want to change existing set pieces or combinations. Standard rooms are dated and in need of refurbishment and updating. Comfortable enough but rooms do not reflect the standards achieved with the rest of the hotel. I viewed Executive room which was to a high standard but I think the price structure is all wrong.
