The home has been updated and all the decor is so beautiful. The kitchen and the bathroom had everything we would need and all the appliances were so nice. Tons of quality upgrades. The house is beautifully decorated and exceptionally clean, and the hosts went above and beyond to make our stay special, even baking brownies to celebrate my wife's birthday! The views from the property are absolutely breathtaking – rolling fields, distant mountains, and fog in the morning that made for a peaceful, serene atmosphere. Wildlife in the surrounding fields added to the magic. The location was perfect for us as well, with the Potomac Eagle Scenic Railroad just a short drive away. We enjoyed riding the train and plan to explore the nearby town of Romney on our way back home. We highly recommend this rental and would love to return in the future! ##### Jeffrey M. We were in town for a Best friend getaway. The home is absolutely gorgeous! Rustic modern, with beautiful wall art/photos of the surroundings. Fresh flowers! Small touches to make you feel welcome. Kitchen has everything you need. Great coffee bar. One bathroom however it’s huge with a great shower and lovely bathtub. There was a basket with great accessories for a nice relaxing bath!. Host showed great hospitality, was IMMEDIATELY available for questions. Loved the “no shoes” request which obviously contributes to the cleanliness of the home. My wife and I found this property just outside of town and we're thankful. It really felt like home. If I had to choose one word to describe the house… cozy comes to mind. It’s just a wonderful older home in really great condition. The property is pretty spectacular too. The morning view of the valley and mountains really goes well with a cup of coffee 👍. Our host’s Kelly and John communicated with us in a timely manner. Kelly also arranged to have some fresh beef- as well as homegrown tomatoes- awaiting us. Both were delicious. If we get this way again, we know where we will be staying. Thank you Kelly and John. ##### Bill H.
