Why the Sun of the Vatican? Because the apartment is every day kissed by the Sun, because it is located in the Vatican and St. Peter's Basilica. Because the Prati shopping district, with its chessboard roads, is an orderly neighborhood that blends the business with pleasure. Rich of elegant buildings that boast important offices, classy shops, trattorias and typical Roman restaurants, pizzerias, local markets, supermarket h 24. The squares and the public spaces are well kept, in short, a quiet and exclusive neighborhood. The apartment is located in a historic and historic setting, just a few meters from the Cipro metro. It is composed of a double room, a triple room, one with two single beds, kitchen / living room, entrance hall, corridor and 2 bathrooms. The apartment has been renovated a few months and is furnished and equipped with furniture, appliances and new accessories. Ideal for families and groups of friends. Places of major interest such as St. Peter's Basilica, the Vatican Museums, Castel Sant'Angelo, the famous streets of the historic center such as Via del Corso, Piazza Navona, Piazza di Spagna, Piazza Venezia, are easily reachable on foot or with the public transport provided by the Municipality of Rome (bus, metro, tram, taxi). The area is served by numerous restaurants, bars, pastry shops and shops.
The apartment, which has been totally renovated specifically for this purpose.
The structure is equipped with the most comforts: internet with free wi-fi, air conditioning, memory mattresses, service kit.

Accessible from the metro stations of Cyprus and Ottaviano (300 meters) and from many other public transports departing from Termini and Tiburtina stations and from Fiumicino and Ciampino airports. The Vatican Museums (400 meters), Piazza San Pietro (900 meters) and Via Cola di Rienzo are within easy walking distance.

Grand appartement bien situé à fort potentiel mais peu équipé et pas très bien entretenu

L'appartement est bien situé ds un quartier vivant et la résidence est calme et d'assez bon standing. Les pièces sont grandes et la literie de bonne qualité mais les salles de bain sont minuscules. L'équipement laisse vraiment à désirer : une cafetière minuscule, des casseroles ds un état déplorable ; Les douches sont pleines de calcaire et une était complètement bouchée...Pas de couverture ds les chambres ( sauf une petite en polaire complètement insuffisante ) Bref un beau potentiel mais qui pourrait être amélioré sans trop de difficulté et avec peu de choses !! Enfin que dire de la pression de la propriétaire la veille de notre départ pour nous demander mettre un avis positif ...limite !!!

Great place

We only stayed one night. The host answered my questions quickly. Very helpful, before and during our stay. She gave us a list of places nearby to eat. The neighborhood was a bit hard to find, but I think that was more our problem. I would recommend a stay here.

Wonderful Stay!

We had an absolutely fabulous stay at the Vatican Sun property! Despite having a fractured foot, Silvana provided great communication and even let us check-in early on the day of our arrival. I can't tell you how much this helped us as there were 5 of us with a lot of luggage, and the weather was very hot that day. This rental property is very spacious, and since there were 5 of us traveling (3 adults, 2 teenagers), the extra space and 2 bathrooms came in very handy! Also, the location of this property is so convenient to everything, and you can get to most places with a short 5-10min walk (taxi stand, a huge indoor market, so many restaurants, convenience stores and GELATO!). There are many conveniences at the apartment including a refrigerator, stove, microwave and washer/dryer machine. And when I couldn't figure out why the dryer was stopping the cycle prematurely, Silvana responded within only a few minutes and sent one of the neighbors over to help me out. I didn't realize that you have to empty the water tank after every cycle since this isn't something that we typically have in the US (we usually have vents or drains). And finally, on the last day of our stay, our nephew somehow accidentally threw away the set of 4 keys in the trash bin by the street. We felt absolutely horrible about this as we knew it would be a big burden on Silvana to replace the keys. She was so kind and understanding about it, and of course we will be paying for the replacements costs.

Decent 3 bedroom apartment close to Vatican. Had all the required appliances. Well equipped kitchen. 400m from nearest Metro stop. Comfortable beds and good air conditioning. The apartment was a bit hard to find at first.

Great location!

Our family of 4 had a wonderful stay here! The location couldn’t be better - just outside of the Vatican wall. It’s very convenient to metro, taxi stations & restaurants. Silvana promptly responded to my questions and provided great directions and rental description. We were able to drop our luggage off long before check-in time. Beds were super comfortable & we loved having an espresso each morning. Showers are small compared to what we’re used to, but adequate. It was nice to have 2 full baths for 4 adults.

Great location and comfortable apartment

The apartment is centrally located in a safe neighborhood. The apartment itself was clean and we appreciated having a washer/dryer, a/c in each bedroom & cold refrigerator. However be very specific when booking about bed/sleeping arrangements. We were a party of 5 (2 adults and 3 teens) traveling together and specifically booked this apartment because it had 3 bedrooms and advertised it slept 7. The host didn’t ask what beds we wanted made up so we assumed all would be available for us to choose from, but when we went to get ready for bed the 1st evening, only 1 of the 2 twin beds was made up. We contacted Silvania and she said she’d have someone right over with what we needed to make up the other twin bed, but 5 mins later started texting us repeatedly that the maids made the beds up for 5 and 2 people would need to sleep in the double bed together. We planned on putting our son in 1 room and our daughter and son’s girlfriend in the room with 2 twins, so the 2 girls sharing a bed was not an ideal option for us. We ended up making it work with blankets as sheets, but what bothered us the most was the attitude…like we’d done something wrong. There was an easy solution but the host made it a bit difficult. Also, there weren’t enough pillowcases for all the pillows (I like to sleep with 2 pillows) but were afraid to ask for anything else because didn’t want to be bombarded with more texts. Overall, we’d recommend but be specific on needs and don’t expect anything extra.

Lovely property, close to Vatican, comfortable beds, hostile host

Lovely property close to Vatican. However, host told us to communicate with her through her phone number, which we did, then scolded us for contacting her through that number. Our plane flight was delayed, which she was fully apprised of, and due to this unforeseen delay, we requested a later check in time of 5:30pm as soon as we were informed by the airlines of the delay- our host scolded us for being “late” (which we were not), stated it’s our fault the person she sent to give us the keys had to wait (why did she send this person early knowing our flight was decayed??), insisted we pay them extra for their wait, sent us messages saying how much we upset her (we literally did nothing to upset her), then complained to VRBO that we never showed up (we showed up at exactly the time we said we would- 5:30pm. She then continued to contact me throughout the stay with negative messages trying to provoke further conversation- this was extremely inappropriate. This is our wedding trip, made unnecessarily stressful. I do not recommend staying here because of the way you are likely to be treated if you attempt it. In more than 20 stays, this is a first.

The apartments is covered in mold showers being the worst. The owner is a complete liar whe will try to swindle you out of fees. Items were damaged from prior and she accused us and tried to charge $250. I would highly recommend staying on the street before you stay here

Great week in Rome

Spacious apartment in a great location short walk to Vatican. Neighborhood had plenty of informal restaurants and cafes for easy dining and grocery stores. Excellent weekend market where the streets are closed to traffic. Subway nearby though we were able to easily walk to all the major Roman tourist sites.

Good Place to Stay near the Vatican City

Property is around half an hour drive from the FCO airport, near the city center at convenient location of walking distance from bus stop and Metro station. Vatican City is in just 15 minutes of walking distance. Apartment is located at 3rd floor of a five story building. Elevator looks older but works fine. Building looks little older from outside but the apartment is well renovated and clean with all the amenities. Silvana is quite friendly and easy to communicate. We have had opportunity to early check in and flexible check out. A good place to spend a holiday near the Vatican City.

Mit sieben Personen in jeder Altersstufen waren wir vom 18.10. bis 28.10.2021 in der schönen Feierenwohnung von Frau Trapani. Die Wohnung ist super geräumig, jeder von konnte sich mit seinem Gepäck ausbreiten und hatte auch eine Rückzugsmöglichkeit. In der Küche konnten wir gemeinsam kochen und die Mahlzeiten gemeinsam einnehmen. Uns hat die Lage und das Umfeld der Wohnung gut gefallen. Für uns iat es immer wichtig möglichst nahe mit den Menschen unseres Urlaubsortes zusammen zu leben. Wir haben Rom fast nur zu Fuß erkundet. Der Petersdom ist so nahe gelegen, dass ich an manchen Tagen zweimal dort war. Frau Trapani ist eine sehr gut engagierte Vermieterin, sie hat uns immer wieder gute Tipps zur Erkundung Roms gegeben und besonders bei der An-und Abreise unterstützt. Wnn wir wieder Rom besuchen, dann nur in der Feierenwohnung "DIE SONNE DER VATIKAN". Scarlett-Petra Sandvoß
