The apartment is very characteristic and furnished with taste and attention to detail. Original features such as period ceilings have been retained, combining contemporary design and comfort. It can accommodate up to 4 people and consists of a comfortable living room with two single sofa beds and dining area, equipped kitchen, a mezzanine with double bed and bathroom with shower. Very bright, it has an ideal location, in the heart of Rome, from where you can easily reach - both on foot and by public transport - all the main places of interest. It is smaller than it appears. The couches look dirty probably because they need to be replace or recovered. We did not realize there was a door blocked off that looks to go to another apartment. There was noise we heard at night from that direction. We were told that the lock was difficult to work and I wondered why they have not replaced the lock. We could not lock the door at night; too late to have the manager come to fix. The apartment is on the fourth floor, so if you are older or handicapped it would be a challenge to get the suitcases up or down. Also, the loft stairs are steep and no railing. The bed was very firm.We booked this because of the excellent location and the lower price for that area. So a good deal if they other factors do not matter to you. ##### Milton Allen M. If you are self sufficient, this is a great place. If you have a serious problem and it takes 2 hours for someone to respond. That's a problem.
