Our room was a very tired, almost shabby, front room facing the street. The walls were dirty, damp was rising in two places, paint was peeling in places, and in places a haphazard, amateurish, attempt had been made to paint over some parts of the walls with a mismatching acqua-green paint. The interior furnishings consisted of a green-painted wooden chair, and a misaligned wall mirror. The shower worked, but the fittings were defective, and the shower head had been badly patched with adhesive tape, and should have been replaced. The room has no security safe whatsoever. The building has virtually no security, because the office is off to one side of the entrance, and those in the office have no way of distinguishing guests or visitors from the people who go to other parts of the building not controlled by the hotel. Despite its name, this is not a 3-star hotel; I would describe it as inferior, and would not recommend the hotel to anyone.
