It was walking distance to everything that’s a plus It was super small not same as the picture of the hotel, WiFi didn’t work unless you are in hallway.

The cleaning staff & location were great however, the advertised WIFI was none existent - they provide a FREE mobile phone which is also a city guide. The FREE mobile does not unfortunately replace the fact that the WIFI doesn’t work, and from what I assume (I don’t like to assume, but) hasn’t worked since 2017.. The room was very noisy, as there’s no noise seals which means you can hear all other guests and the staff right outside - not ideal at 7am every day (I’m an early riser, but like to not set an alarm on holiday). The drainage, regardless of the staffs best efforts, means the room smells very unpleasant. The biggest “gripe” was the insistence of needing cash - we understand it is an extra to pay, but when they refuse and insist on you going to the cash point it raises questions (they did eventually accept a card payment, but after a lot of back and forth - cleaning staff “didn’t know” how to use the card machine as a last resort attempt of getting cash, although we don’t put the blame on them). When we did raise anything, they passed blame onto others; meaning not everything was raised in the end.

We were presented with a much smaller room than anticipated which made the pictures seem deceiving. The quality of the rooms interior was also poor. On inspection, the walls were covered in black marks, including but not limited to scratch marks and shoe prints. The bathroom fixings were not entirely secure, the sink and the mirror weren’t fully in place. The skirting board was also not finished properly, the workmanship looked rushed. Moving on to the amenities and services, the hotel offers free wifi, which was not present in the rooms. When I asked reception for an explanation, I was simply told the WiFi only worked in the corridor. I asked for the alternative WiFi showing on my phone, which the receptionist put into my phone. However, when I said I needed the password for my girlfriend, I was told it was a secret and only I was allowed to use it, something I found rather strange. Secondly, the hotel states that it offers an iron on request - this turned out to be solely an iron, no ironing board to accompany. When questioning the whereabouts of an ironing board, I was told “use the bed”. Perhaps most prevalent to our stay was the large issue of noise. Outside our window, directly below was a large air conditioning unit which continued to be in use throughout the night. Coupled with incredibly thin walls in the property, which allowed 90% of conversations in the corridor to be heard made sleep difficult at best.

The staff was extremely helpful and kind. We had problems with our luggage not making it in on our same flight and they helped ensure it got to us. They were also very helpful with us, we have a wheelchair and they offered to have it locked up downstairs due to the fact we couldn't fit it into the elevator (we figured out how to do it later). Overall a very nice experience and it felt very secure.

The location of the hotel is its greatest asset. It's perfectly located: it's only a 10 minute walk from Castel Sant'Angelo, the metro and Saint Peter's Square. It's directly opposite a great little cafe that's both great value and great quality, and right next door to a really nice restaurant (albeit not particularly vegetarian friendly). The cleanliness of the room was good: the bathroom and bedroom were cleaned every day. Unfortunately, that's where the positives end. The lack of staff available when you needed them was frustrating. They're available in the mornings, but if you need anything after 7:30pm, you're on your own. The walls are paper thin and as we were placed directly opposite the reception desk, we could hear everything, including private conversations that other guests would not have appreciated being overheard. Our biggest gripe was the lack of breakfast, despite this being openly advertised in their online pictures and in their own welcome booklet which is placed in every room. The staff's response was simply:" we don't do that" and didn't offer any other other explanation as to why they still advertise it. The Wi-fi was intermittent and spotty. I, personally, didn't have issues with it on my phone; however, my partner could not use it whatsoever when I was on my phone. This hotel has great potential, but at the minute it's falling short. If you're looking for something as a base to sleep, then it works. If you want comfort, don't bother.

This hotel is a little treasure hidden in an older building. It has great food options in the immediate vacinity and accessing all of Rome is easy from here. Great price too

While the property was clean, there was issues with mold residue under the window and in the bathroom. the bulb in the bathroom was smashed by the cleaners and not replaced so we pretty much had to do everything in poor lighting. we had to ask for toilet roll and cups. the hotel does not offer breakfast although this is stated as a bed and breakfast twice on the page. a late check in fee is charged, although this is stated it is not clear until you pay. the hotel was OK, the cleaners did clean and change sheets etc.. but i wouldn't stay again.

It was a nice clean room, spacious, massive comfy bed and excellent memory foam pillows. The location was pretty convenient - short walk to the metro and very close to Vatican City. It was a bit tricky to find as it’s in a building with other businesses. And the elevator is a bit tricky too!

The property was in an ideal location, was decorated to a high standard, and the staff where friendly and helpful, the rooms were a good size, it is not a massive hotel, which made it feel more intimate and special. Service is in the room, with free tea and cake if you arrive back between 16.30 & 18.30, in a little side area. It has a boutique vibe, and we loved the building and old fashioned lift, we would recommend this hotel, if you prefer to be away from large numbers of people, when you've finished you're sight seeing.

The property was in a convenient location. Staff was very friendly, but often left the front desk unmanned for long periods and did not provide all of the information that would have been helpful for a comfortable stay. There were a total of 3 doors to enter the property. Codes were provided for the outer and inner door on the chance that they were locked. Hotel staff failed to mention during the check in that a key was required to access the second door, which pretty much makes the codes provided useless. I was locked out of the hotel a total of three times, once at 3 pm in the afternoon when hotel staff did not respond to the buzzer, nor were they present at the front desk after someone exiting the property let me in. The third time that I was locked out was after dinner one evening. I spent a total of 2 and a half hours sitting on the tile in the lobby, waiting for someone to exit or enter the property to gain access to the door. The following morning, when I attempted to talk to someone about the entry issue, no one was present at the front desk and I gave up because had to leave to make my time slot at the Vatican Museum. In addition to the difficulty in gaining access to the room, there was an unfortunate sour sewer smell coming from the plumbing in the Pantheon room’s bathroom. Although the smell seemed to go away with use of the air conditioning, I found upon arrival at my next hotel that it had soaked into my clothes that were hanging in the closet. Not recommended.

The hotel location is very good, really close to Vatican and metro. The staf is very good, very helpful and kind. The rooms are little tight. The breakfast was good, with a small cofee, typical from Italy, they bring it to your room.
