Truly a "Gem" with an A staff and probably the cleanest place we've stayed. Definitely an excellent value for the price, and we wouldn't hesitate to stay there again. While the entrance isn't directly off of the street, just look for the La Familia restaurant and they'll point you to the proper door (and also a great place to eat). Once inside, the staff is super-friendly and accommodating, and they provide many amenities including a refrigerator with complimentary soft drinks and water refilled daily. Breakfast arrives at the requested time without fail, exactly as ordered. Although there are only a few rooms and no off-hours staffing, we always felt safe. Definitely recommend Gemma!

Boarding house was refreshing stay Staff were amazing. The hotel was very convenient to the train station. We stayed the night before leaving Rome with a huge amount of luggage because our daughter had just finished studying in Rome. While the hotel was on a higher floor of a building, there was an elevator. The room was super clean and the staff was very friendly and helpful. They even dug out a scale from their supplies so that we could check the weight on our bags.

A easy night stay before heading home

We arrived outside the reception working hour, but the receptionist was staying late and waiting for us. He is very friendly and helpful, assisted us with all our requests, e.g. early breakfast, transports to airport ...etc.. The room is very clean and comfortable, well presented. The location is good, easy to find things near by, but slightly tricky to find it.

Perfect little hotel!!

Great little hotel for Rome! Location is both very close to the train station, about a 5 minute walk for super easy travel in and out of the city, but also very close and walk-able to all attractions. The service is excellent and all staff is very eager to make sure you have a great stay. Upon arrival, they spent some time going over a map of the city and pointing out the main attractions and giving us directions for what we asked to see. In the morning, they deliver breakfast straight to your room based on what you selected at check in. If there is anything else you want, they are quick to get it. I asked for a still water and cappuccino and they brought both right to my room in a matter of minutes. We stayed in the ruby room. While not huge, it was plenty of space for two people, perfectly clean, and came with some waters and snacks which was perfect after just arriving from the overnight flight. All around highly recommended if you are looking for a comfortable, quiet stay in a very convenient location!

Very nice rooms. Fruit basket and candies in the room. Breakfast is very basic and is brought to your room. Location is good close to train station and many attractions. You need 4 keys to get into the building in the evening. Very friendly and helpful staff.

thanks you for THE HORRIBLE memory

We booked at this hotel 2 month ago but FINALLy we could NOT be able to check in this hotel. Why? Becase this hotel reception desk work until 6pm and we had to check in before 6pm. We never imagine any hotel needed to check in so early in the evening. We'd arrived in the hotel at 8 pm due to flight delay. Reception left 6pm. If you have any chance to face traffic delay or late check in, You must note you can waste your beautiful memory and money(non refundable). HORRIBLE memory in Rome.

Trevligt hotell med bra läge

Supertrevligt litet hotell med vänlig personal. Bra läge nära centralstationen. Gångavstånd till sevärdheter. Frukosten kom på en serveringsvagn till rummet, utbudet valde du dagen innan. Inga stora skyltar utanför om hotellet, men har man rätt adress så är det inga problem. Kan varmt rekommendera.

Loved my stay at Gemme di Roma! Great location and area, less than 5 min walk to Termini! They were very accommodating to my late arrival and very helpful. I stayed at the Ruby Room, very spacious and clean. Great place to stay in Rome!

After confirming the reservation I got a messege from the hotel that reception is closing at 6:30 pm. I replied to the hotel that I will be arriving hotel around 9:00 and they waited for it! The room condition was clean and nice, compilementary foods and water was more than enough, and the breakfast was very delicious. More than anything the people working there were all nice and friendly. Highly recommend to people visit Roma.

The owners go above and beyond. Location is within walking distance to the train station. Our room was lovely. Breakfast delivered to our room everyday and days we were leaving early it was brought to us the night before. Would stay at the Gemma di Roma again and would highly recommend it.
