I recommend this hotel highly. It is a well-run, pleasant place to stay in Rome. It is close to transportation and dining options, as well as two large city parks.

It was a nice hotel. But it was really far from the metro. There wasn’t an easy way to get there other than to walk.

Hotel Fenix is nice n comfortable and 10 mins to tourists attractions by taxi. Stayed here many times when in Roma. Viva Roma grazie

This hotel is a 2-star hotel. Having it listed as 4 is a FAR stretch. The staff was pleasant and welcoming. Metro and bus within 10 min walk. The hotel is old and in need of major updates inside/out It is located on the corner of a busy street close to the hospital, so you hear ambulances with their sirens on every 15 min. Rooms are dated with dirty closet doors and wallpaper. Roms are very dark with just 2 nightstand lights working. The bathroom was OK but tight. The heater / AC did not work. The area around the hotel is unattractive, with limited restaurants, and very dirty streets ( much like the rest of Rome) I would not recommend this hotel.

I loved how it wasn’t the norm of hotels. For our first time ever going international it was an experience for sure but the hotel was great!

The hotel is so beautiful and a true gem. The entire staff was so wonderful. They make the best pizza at their in-house restaurant. We loved our stay at their hotel. We would return to the same hotel.

Fenix Hotel in Rome
We loved the hotel. We had a junior suite which was spacious and the decor was lovely. The room had two toilets ( always welcome when travelling with kids). The staff were all friendly and helpful. The hotel is charming.

I will start with the Positive. We liked that the property was in a quiet area away from the noise and crowds of Rome. The Breakfast was a 10/10. The Metro (subway) was a little further walk than expected - but very manageable. Now the Negative - NOT a 4 star hotel - rating the hotel at 2.5 would be closer to reality we were in room 405, the shower tile was partly missing in certain areas, mold/mildew in the shower area. The mattress was the worst mattress we have ever slept on. The pillows were so bad that we ended up using our own neck pillows we brought for the plane ride. It was doable as we are not 5 star resort type people - but after we stayed in 3 other accommodations with a similar 4 star review - it was clear as day this was 2.5 stars at best.

Four days in Rome and this hotel is in a perfect location.room and bed and pillows very comfy. Reception staff very friendly and helpful and our room each day cleaned very well, will recommend and next time in Rome will stay here

We arrived much later than planned as flight very delayed. Welcome from front desk was average. The room I stayed in was ok, nice crisp linen. The bathroom was very tiny & very tired. I was charged €4 for a bottle of water that came from kitchen not my mini bar. Totally overpriced for a guess of hotel. Breakfast was average. No catering for vegan( someone travelling with me). No iron was available in room so asked at reception but was told none available. Wanted to charge me €5 to iron a T-shirt.

Nice, cozy hotel with spacious rooms. A little off the beaten path and far from touristy areas. Public transit not easy to navigate, as buses and trains don't run on time.

Too far from the centre to walk, but very close to wonderful restaurants and cafes, so no need to go far in the evenings. The rooms are a little tired now, and could do with an investment, but were all clean, and the air-con worked wonderfully! Breakfast was really good, all the staff were friendly and helpful, and we had a wonderful few days here. Thank you to all the staff!

Nice neighborhood, close to good restaurants and gelato shops. Morning breakfast exceeded my expectations, with great variety and quality. An older building perhaps, but kept in great condition and has class.

It's a nice quiet hotel. Seemed a bit far out from the city centre at first but actually only Euros 15 to get to central Rome. Good breakfast and really nice cappuccinos! Staff very friendly and helpful. We had a junior suite and it was lovely with a really spacious room and a jacuzzi bath! Would definitely stay again.

The hotel is located in a nice residential quiet area about 30 minutes walking from the tourist area. There are nice restaurants in the area. The staff is friendly and customer service is very nice. Excellent value for your money. I will stay in this hotel in my next trip to Rome

The hotel is advertised as 4 star but it is definitely not 4 star. Rooms are much smaller, photos on website are deceiving. Some of the reception staff (during day time) was good but at night they weren’t very helpful. Our simple request for ice was ignored by reception staff despite requesting in person and offering to take it to room. They told us they will deliver it our room but it was never delivered. Cleaning staff did not replenish basic amenities, we had to go downstairs and request for things. The hotel is not centrally located and is approximately 15 minute bus ride to central Roma. Breakfast in the hotel is good, and staff serving breakfast is helpful and pleasant.
