The main office is located in a building that has a massage parlor downstairs. We could not even find it when a cab dropped us off. Had to call them to confirm that this is the address. After checking-in, we had to walk two blocks to another building where the apartment was located. It is basically an apartment, and breakfast is provided in a cafe (owned by the same people) around the corner. There is no staff on site. The apartment itself is not in a good condition, particularly the shower. Hot water was turned off twice, they had to come in and restart the hot water heater. There are also issues with electricity in the apartment (when we first arrived, power was completely out). We stayed there for six nights (pre-paid thru hotels.com so had no choice). The only cleaning that was done during that time was: trash was taken out, beds were made and toilet paper was restocked. Sheets/towels were never changed, bathroom was never cleaned. The staff were very friendly, and eager to serve, but we had to specifically ask for things that are normally done by default at normal hotels; or notify them that something did not work. The area is convenient to the Termini train station and the Basilica of Santa Maria Maggiore. But it is on the dodgy end of things. I did not feel particularly safe walking there.

Good place to stay for late arrivals. Staff very helpful and courteous. Room was basic but clean and comfortable. Great location for seeing the city.

It was OK and value for money! BUT THINK AGAIN!!
Overall it was OKaish! The location was great and room was spacious though the hair dryer did not work. The whole building was not the hotel hence it was really difficult to find. Some of the apartments was belonging to Dhaly. The building was old and haunting. The elevator was small and dangerous. The owner was not there and we had to call him. We waited for long and then he came finally. The breakfast was awful and stale and in a different place which is unusual. I DONT KNOW WHY HOTELS.COM SAY WE NEED TO PAY AT THE PROPERTY BUT DHALY HAD ALREADY CHARGED FROM THE CREDIT CARD. I say why keep false statements like these.

We arrived at the given address, then were walked 3 blocks to some random street to get to our room. It had not yet been cleaned. The beds were not made, there was trash, old toiletries, and a literal sh1t stain 3 inches wide, running down the length of the toilet. It was all so disgusting. Obviously one is not going to find great accommodation near a train station, but holy jesus. Also, be prepared for the entire city to con you out of money. And, yes, they sent some dude to clean the room a little while after we were let inside, but it was all awful!

The staff is friendly and the room was clean. Not the nicest place, but it does the trick. Our room smelled funny sometimes. But when you come back so tired, you don't really care. My only complaint was that "breakfast" was only coffee and a piece of cake, but I guess that's what they eat around here.

Pleasant surprise
It was a very nice hotel, the only things that i had a problem with was the very small bathroom in which you didn't have room move, the fact that they didn't have a spare key to come clean the room and when we wanted to leave our key soo they can at least change the towels, the reception was closed and the final problem was the "continental breakfast" which was only a croissant. However for that price, the room was really amazing, very clean, the staf was welcoming and it is not far away from rome's atractions.

For that also, We need to go out of the hotel in another shop almost like 400 meters and staff over there are unwelcome. However, Karina, lady on front desk was really welcomed and helpful.

Close to train station, 2 blocks. Unprofessional.
Arrived during a torrential rain, during office hours. Office not open, asked neighbor, sent us to 4th floor. Lovely Hindu woman answered, little/ no English. Gave her paper work. Didn't expect us. Showed us a room. Had a long excited conversation on phone with someone. At least 30 minutes. Finally asked me to follow her to pay.Thought we were going to second floor office. She took me at least four blocks in pouring rain to a deli I assume they owned. Another excited conversation. Man finally processed paper work, then informed me he would accept 5.00 tip. Given the lack of service I asked what for? He continued to work me , bully me, intimidate me, it would have been easier to pay him but I was upset. Finally he asked if I would buy some food to compensate him. the food looked good so I agreed. When he billed me he had tacked on the extra 5.00. Long story short. I paid what was owed. Lady took me back. Then asked for a tip. Maybe this is a cultural expectation. But after a HUGE suck of my time, being soaking wet, and and very upset, I couldn't wait to be out of there.

Took over one hour to check in.No one answering phone,eventually got inside and another guest took us to a restaurant,5minutes away where after first telling me no booking.I then showed the booking number,another 45 minute wait and finally in our very small room.Clean enough,location good but area a bit sleazy.Lots of restaurants and you can walk almost everywhere from here.Or take Metro or bus.

Hi ,Its is the most pathetic hotel in my whole Europe Tour...I gave 1 rating as they provide me big room but no other facilities.I would suggest anyone pay few more Euros and try another in Town but dont book this hotel at all.please dont book or you will be ....thanks

Dhali- you may not get what you expect
We do not have good experience with this, unfortunately. It was located in a different location (address) than the one given in hotels.com. So, we had to struggle to find the right building. Free breakfast is kind of cheating. It says free continental breakfast, but serve only a croissant, one cup juice or coffee. There was no microwave in the room although they advertise. The lift is not family friendly. So, I don't recommend a family with kid and stroller in this building. Lift is very narrow where you can go hardly with your baby stroller. Rooms were okay. It was very close to Termini.

The receptionist was terrible and he tried to short change us then invited us to eat in his shop later, obviously we never ate there. There reception is also a kebab place which is a bit weird, to put our relief they took us around the corner to a apartment block. The room had a separate bathroom and loads of beds but was fine. It also had a broken window which was a bit weird. One day the room missed being cleaned and they gave us bed sheets to dry ourselves as they had no towels. Apart from that it was fine, a lenient place to stay to say the least. If you want romance this isn't a place for you but if you are with the boys it is a great place to be. The area is good, so close to the station. If you are also picky this isn't for you, for me I don't care so it was fine.

Hotel around from a 24 hour shop that serves food including pastry 1 coffee a 1 cup juice breakfast. Boy whom run it ask openly for tips on arrival speaking all sentences at least three times in four days they wore the same clothes had selective and strange cleaning techniques, I certainly wouldn't eat any food from there as it seemed to sit for the whole time we stayed. Air con was dodgy lucky we had a fan aswell. Bed wascrisp and fresh but good layer or dirt underneath. Quiet location and good as long as you can handle all the street traders.

Stay away from this place
Please do yourself a favor and stay away from this place. Just to said a few things about this place. 1- No water to shower 2- Only 1 electrical plug. If you need to charge your laptop or cell phone. You will need to turn off the AC. or the TV 3- Staff are Indian/Paki do not speak the language. 4- You need to check inn at a restaurant, when you looked for the Bed and B. you will not find it. You will find that there will always be rooms available at this place. but there is a reason why. no body in their good senses will stay here. Expidia should not have this place in their website.

Got walked with little explanation
Had booked the Dhali for one night. Easy walk from Termini train station. The reception is actually in a convenience store/cafe, signed outside. We're offered a coffee while we waited for "reception" to arrive. We're first told we couldn't use a credit card. Were taken to the Dhali to pay by credit card. It's about 3 blocks from reception. Then told we couldn't stay there because our stay wasn't long enough and we were going to their "sister property" the Papia Guest House. It was another 10 blocks, a 12 minute walk southeast of Termini. Shown to room A. It took a bit of doing to get a key for the building's front door and then for the guesthouse door. The couple who arrived before us didn't get a key and we're told to "ring the buzzer and I'll buzz you in." Room was comfortable enough and very clean, but not where we'd booked. 2 bars of soap and 2 shampoo packets. Breakfast (included in our rate from the Dhali) meant a 12-13 block walk to the "reception" at the cafe for a coffee and a croissant/cornetto. I'm not happy with how the Dhali handled us (are they a booking agency for the Bangladeshi community of properties in Rome?) but our stay at the Papia was ok. Just be aware if you book at Dhali because of it's location near Termini that doesn't guarantee you'll be staying near there.

Unbelievable service please read it patiently
We booked two nights with our "private bathroom". The bathroom was separated with our room. In the second night, when we back to the room we found all our staff in the bathroom were gone! We told the staff and 20 mins later a woman who only speak Italian came and gave us something back but our toothbrushes and a plastic water bottle were dropped by them. We thought the staff think we were checked out and took our valuables. We complaint to the officers and he is rude. The staff are rude and impolite, if you want a place which convenience it was, but beware of your personal belongings

I chose this hotel for staying one more day at Rome. It's close to Rome Termini in walking distance 5minutes. The room is clean, Internet speed was the top among 10 hotels I visited in Italy and free. So if you choose Rome as a first gate to plan it, you need internet, you won't find any hotel than this as a good place to plan out for your trip. There's no breakfast, no dinner room, It's a small one floor suit with 5-6 small rooms. Rest room is for each room, so don't worry. When you arrive in Rome to find this hotel, you won't be able to find because the hotel is run by the restaurant owner 'Dalhi '. You have to find the restaurant and they will guide to the suite. It was a bit weird at first, but that's how it runs and we didn't have any complaints, it was just cheap and good for your money.

The place has a small advertisement in a restaurant. We had some problem in finding it. The room was large but the tv was not working and was fixed 2 days after our arrival. The air condition was disconnected too. After somebody from the staff connected it worked well.

TERRIBLE worst experience. The address is incorrect. There is a pizzeria. We were waiting for service and response. Then a man took us to another street and the hotel was awful and bad smell. We inmediatly run away to another hotel.

I was pleased with our stay. I was on a budget and this hotel was budget friendly and very close to the train station. The free breakfast is just around the corner at an Indian Fast Food place and it is very simple (coffee and choice of slice of cake or croissant), but it got us going in the morning and we didn't over eat, which is perfect for spending your day walking around Rome.

Good location, fairly clean rooms and secured.
Hotel was fairly close to train station. Very secured as we had 4 keys to get into our room. Room is pretty clean and same with shower/toilet, although a bit outdated. Room had TV and AC which worked fine. There was a fridge which didn't work at all. Breakfast was just juice, apple and croissant which was delivered to room by the owner's wife! It's merely a hotel though - It's an apartment with 3 en-suite rooms. The owners are a Bangladeshi couple with a little kid, they stay in one of the rooms and let the other two rooms - having said that, you won't feel like you're staying in someone else's house as everything is separated. I was a bit concerned reading the reviews but trust me, its a good place and the price was good too. No doubt I will be staying here next time I go to Rome.

You get what you pay for
It's a cheap place and you get all the necessary things you need; beds, toilet, shower, breakfast (and A/C). It's easy to get to the centre, very close to a bar/place to each and very close to the Roma Termini (the station). HOWEVER! 1) The breakfast is poor : we got 1 apple & 1 croissant each, shared 1 chocolate bar & shared 1 litre of juice for 3 nights. 2) Lots of noise. The toilet made a lot of noise, people running outside the door and we had the bad luck of having a child+dad fooling around in the middle of the night for a loooong time. 3) We had to pay in cash.

In the pics you say: ok, its simple but looks safe.. but the reality is terrible!! this "hotel" is close to the train station, but is in a very unsafe area, be careful. The reality: two unsafe rooms inside a poor neigborhood... tv doesnt work, bathroom terribly dirty... I won't return ever!

I chose to stay here with my 2 daughters because of the price (very cheap) , location, and because it said it had a "kitchen" Absolutely delivered on the first 2. It was 5 mins walk from the railway station and about 15 to both Trevi fountain and colloseum. Loads of good places to eat nearby the nicer ones were on the far side of the Via Cavour( huge set meal for 15,) The couple who run the place (its really just an apartment where they let out 2 bedrooms) were friendly and helpful. My eldest daughter arrived with her suitcase at 7 am and although she couldn't use the room at that time they were happy for her to leave her bags and return at 12 when we arrived. The beds and bathroom were clean and very comfortable but the drawers could have done with a more thorough clean out. Breakfast was juice, fruit and croisant delivered in the evening which suited us fine as we made early starts. We got coffee and a pastry for 1.50 at a local bar for our second breakfast. The Kitchen was non existant , there were no cups plates or glasses and the fridge didn't work, there was a microwave but we didn't try it (no utensils) if you want a cheap and cheerful place to stay in Rome which is handy for everything this place is great. If you need the kitchen facilities don't bother. You need to keep an eye out for the tiny name plate by the gate though, it just says dahli on the list amongst all the names of the residents in the other apartments.

We were looking for economical lodging in a central location. The hotel filled that need and delivered on the items promised in the website material. Finding the location was somewhat difficult because it is within a residential location and does not have street signage. I would stay in this location again.

Não recomendo, pior hotel que já conheci.
Detestei a experência, o hostel não tem segurança nenhuma, abrem a porta do nosso quarto para fazer de sala de espera para outros hospedes. Más condições de higiene, sem água quente, staff muito antipático. Não recomendo!

Die Rezeption ist nicht besonders einfach zu finden. Wenn man dann einmal im Zimmer ist verfügt man über ein einfach ausgestattetes Zimmer, welches im Punkto Sauberkeit nicht besonders gut ist. Wir waren trotzdem zufrieden, da wir uns kaum im Zimmer aufgehalten haben und die Mängel am Zimmer durch Preis und die Super Zentrale Lange mehr als ausgeglichen wurden.

Sconsigliatissimo!!!
In primis mi è stato chiesto di pagare l'importo della notte trascorsa in hotel, ma, per fortuna avevo il codice prenotazione e la stampa del pagamento effettuato on line. Poi ha provato a chiedermi un importo superiore di qualche euro per la tassa di soggiorno, ma come evidenziato nel foglio della prenotazione avrei dovuto pagare €3,50 a persona. La cosa più inquietante è aver notato che le camere erano dotate di un una chiusura esterna, ovvero chiunque dall'esterno avrebbe potuto chiuderti dentro. La porta della camera aveva una vetrata e la luce esterna (in reception) era accesa tutta la notte. Sconsigliatissimo!!!

Nie wieder!!! Sehr,sehr hellhörig.Unfreundlich.
Erst das dritte Zimmer ging dann einigermaßen. Alles sehr hellhörig, die Nachbarbäder scheinen nicht isoliert zu sein, man denkt deren Toilette ist im eigenen Zimmer. Man versuchte uns als Expedia Kunde das schlechteste Zimmer mit nur einer Glastür direkt neben der Rezeption zu geben und ein Handtuch um das Glas zu verhängen. Teilweise waren die Mitarbeiter des anscheinend indisch geführte Hotels frech und sehr unfreundlich. Personal lag tw. neben der Rezeption direkt vor dem Zimmer. Beim Duschen war teilweise morgens kein Wasser. Das Frühstück gab es in einem indischen Grill-Imbiss auf Hockern direkt neben dem übel riechendem Grill. Selbst nachts um 3.39h diskutierte das Personal sehr laut auf dem Flur mit unzufriedenen neuen Gästen-an Schlaf nicht mehr zu denken-trotz Beschwerde darüber.... Die Bettdecken waren mehrfach dreckig und mit Blutflecken voll! Fotos gemacht. Der Schrank innen verdreckt und außen total zerkratzt mit Sprüchen wie auf Toiletten an Autobahnparkplätzen..... Ein Inder der Reinigung gab sich jedoch Mühe.
