The location was an excellent choice. We could walk to Trevi, Spanish Steps and the Pantheon from hotel location. We had a family type room for three and it was very nice. Need to update laundry form, very archaic. We were traveling for two weeks and needed to have laundry done. F/M wear t-shirts. No city views, but breakfast was wonderfully presented every morning by their wait staff. The rest of the staff were helpful too. Bellmen greeted you and were cheerful at the door. We felt safe in the city hotel. We definitely would stay again when we return to Rome. .

Room was quiet, clean -- loved the wood flooring and the amenities provided. As the hotel is an older property, there was a slight stagnant smell whenever we entered the room, but that quickly dissipated once we turned on the fan. The concierge was extremely helpful and allowed us to extend our stay in our original room not just once, but twice at a reasonable rate, and always greeted us warmly. Via del Corso and Via Condotti were a few minutes walk away which made shopping very convenient, and I loved walking by the Trevi Fountain almost daily.

When we arrived they had overbooked and had to move us to their sister hotel. Overall we olike the sister hotel much better but they moved us back the next day.

The staff here are incredible! So friendly and willing to go above and beyond to help. Room was a great size for Rome. Very comfortable, bar fridge and only hotel we came across that had an iron and ironing board actually in your room. Breakfast was so fresh and delicious. You could not get a better location with Trevi Fountain, Spanish Steps, Pantheon and Piazza Navona all within a few minutes walk. All restaurant recommendations made to us by the hotel were also incredible. When we come back to Rome…we will absolutely be booking back here again!

This hotel is in a great location. Within walking distance to shopping and restauarants. Close to the Trevi Fountain but far enough away not to be crowded when you walk out of the hotel. Staff is very nice and helful. Our room was very clean. Highly recommend

Stay here in Rome
Excellent experience with central location, friendly staff services, and good size room (which seems bigger than the quoted size) which was quiet (as facing an interior courtyard). The photos which give the impression of a dated interior do not give full justice as the interior finish is very fine and all in working order. Overall the best hotel we stayed in at Rome, the fourth trip in the past 10 years.

Perfect hotel in centro Rome
Excellent stay at this fantastic hotel! The hotel is lovely with fancy decor and extremely clean, the staff is kind, caring, and helpful - especially Christina and Ahmed. The location in historical Rome is perfect. The breakfast was tasty and the coffees made-to-order were delicious. There is a beautiful relaxing lounge area, cozy bar, and lovely reception area. We are repeat clients and love this excellent hotel and staff! We were upgraded to a large lovely superior room - many thanks!! It was a perfect stay at Dei Borgognoni Hotel!! We hope to be back again. Also note - the hotel is a 5 minute walk from lovely San Silvestro Basilica which has english language mass each week. Many thanks! Veronica

From check-in to check-out, the staff could not have been more helpful. We were traveling with my one year old grandchild and they even put a bottle warmer in the room. The hotel is super clean, beautifully decorated and within walking distance to many tourist attractions, dining and shopping. We would definitely stay there again. Special mention to Christina at the front desk who speeded things up so we could check in early and arranged our transportation to the airport.

The water coming from the shower smelled terrible! It smelled like rotten eggs, so clearly there is some issues with the pipes because the water smelt like sewage. The ceiling of the bathroom was full or cracks and peeling off, probably because of water damage or humidity issues. The bathroom itself was incredible old fashioned, and the towels didn’t smell nice either. The air conditioning in the room did not work. The bed was uncomfortable and the bedding smelled bad as well, like it has been sitting there for years. It didn’t smell like clean laundry. The chair in the room should be replaced because most of the color has faded and parts of the wood peeled off. There were terrible amenities. No shower cap which is basic. No offering of a complementary water bottle which is standard in most hotels especially when you pay 200 euros a night for the smallest room for 1 person. The staff at the reception were standoffish as well but honestly that wasn’t the worst part. The room itself was clearly the main issue in the hotel. Can’t comment on the breakfast because I did not try it.

Location is excellent. Staff wonderful. No restaurant for dinner but that was not needed due to location. Room size was fine for Rome and we had a small patio which was nice.
