Whether you're here for work, study, or play, you'll be just minutes away from top-rated dining spots, shopping and more on bustling Broad St., As well as Berry College, Shorter University, local hospitals and the Rome Tennis Center. You'll find comfort and convenience in our cozy 1910 cottage nestled in one of the city's most vibrant and diverse neighborhoods. PLEASE READ BELOW The property requires going up/down stairs to enter/leave house. There is a step-up/down into kitchen and primary bedroom. Not ideal for persons who are handicapped. It's in a historically designated section of Rome. The house was built in 1910\. "It ain't perfect , but it's charming". The area can be a bit noisy. We have noise machines and fans for more pleasant sleeping. \*Big front porch \*1242 square feet. \*Hair dryer, Iron \*Free Coffee. \*Publix is a 5 minute walk. \*SmartTV and WiFi. TV in living room and master bedroom. \*We love animals, but they must first be approved. For the price, we felt like things were good. The house was clearly renovated quickly to be a rental. The bedroom and bathroom doors don’t close well. They get stuck so you can’t close them easily. The walls need more paint. The spackle patches are clearly visible through the paint. One highlight is the water pressure! Excellent!! There is lots of space in the bedrooms and bathrooms, as well as the kitchen. There is also shampoo, conditioner, and body wash provided in each bathroom. There were things to be cautious of. The back door frame is very low. Be careful not to bump your head! The floors are very uneven. The step in and out of the kitchen is marked as well as the slant into the living room. The living room floor has some bumps and so do the bedrooms. Be careful when you walk around particularly if you have infirmities. The house was clean. We did have some issues with sheets that had what looked like blood stains. We contacted Britt right away and were able to find other sheets. The ad says the house sleeps 6\. The reality is that there is bed space for 5 and an air mattress for the 6th person. We paid for 6 people and ended up only having 3 stay at the house with us, so we didn’t need to figure out who was going to have to sleep on an air mattress!! All in all, our time was good and we slept well! ##### Jeanna F. Wasn’t that clean. Mainly the floors. Outlet behind the master bed didn’t have a cover & sparked fire at me when I tried to plug in my cell phone. Floors are uneven. Couldn’t close some the doors. There was a steel door security bar to put on door because doors are uneven & don’t close that well. There’s a lot of street noise because of where it’s located. Floors were not leveled anywhere in this house. It was clean but there were roaches everywhere which was disgusting and we didn’t want to put our luggage and bags down for fear of bringing them home with us. The neighborhood was a little shady! If we ever visit again we will find a hotel. This Vrbo was falsely advertised. The beds were practically sitting on the floor. We’d major work to be a nice VRBO ##### Donna S.
