A gem in the most fun neighborhood in Rome
My wife and I stayed four nights at Zen B&B. It was wonderful. The room is spacious and has a nice terrace to sit out and enjoy the sun or have a cappucino. It is very modern and clean and there is an elevator. It is extremely safe as it requires four keys to get into the building and the room. While it is on a busy main street (Vialle Trastevere), it faces away from the street so you are not subject to the street noise. It is located in the heart of the most happening neighborhood in Rome, Trastevere. The hosts are beyond responsive and answered any text message within minutes and even arranged our car to the airport at a very early hour. This place is a real find!!

Great place in Trastevere neighborhood
What wonderful customer service! They went out of their way to pick us up at FCO when we arrived, & took a bit of time to get us oriented, with maps, breakfast instructions, etc. it’s a family run business, & everyone was very nice & friendly. Room was fine & adequate for our needs. Many restaurants within walking distance. Definitely recommend!

It was a nice place, but it was odd that we never met any of the staff during our stay. We basically did remote check in and checked out on our own. Also strange to have stipulations on when we can shower etc (no showering past 11 pm).

Just spent a weekend here and don’t have one bad thing to say about the place. Desiree and her husband picked us up at the airport, lovely friendly people. Gave us tips on some local restaurants and Pointed out all the major sights on the map and how to get to them. Rome was clean and the breakfast was nice. Great location. Would highly recommend

B&B Zen is in a fantastic location. Within 30mins walk of all the top sights to see & there is also a tram stop outside if you want to save your legs. There’s loads of lovely places to eat close by & you have everything you need in the B&B, from a self service breakfast to lovely people who make your stay easy. Even booking in to collect & pick up from the airport. The beds were comfy & rooms big enough with a balcony. If in Rome I will be back. Thank you!

Davide and Desiree were phenomenal hosts. Very kind and informative. The location is fantastic. Outside of the immediate tourist area, but within short walks to every major sight you would want to see while in Rome. The metro and bus is immediately in front of the B&B, the river is 1/4 mile away and great for running (which I did every morning). We took day trips to Florence /Pisa and to Naples. All were lovely! So many markets to visit in Rome. Mercato di Fiori in the city center, Mercato di Campagna Amica on Sunday was unbelievable and Mercato Testaccio in Trastevere was great too. The B&B does not have a television which I thought was a plus! The breakfast is simple, some of the hotels provide a full breakfast, so that may make a difference to you, there is a private bath which was important to us, overall, the B&B is no frills, but perfect for what we were looking for since we spent little time in the room. Loved every minute of our holiday. Ciao!

Perfect stay in Rome
I had an amazing stay here! The hosts were so friendly and accommodating. They can even arrange airport pickup and drop off. We stayed her twice because it was so nice and convenient. The area is walking distance from a ton of cool bars and restaurants. If you want to go to Rome and be away from the touristy side this is the place to stay.

Great B&B in a fantastic location
Great B&B in a fantastic location- Trastevere! Our room was spacious and bright and had a lovely balcony on which we enjoyed aperitivo before dinner and breakfast. The breakfast was set up in the kitchen every morning but our host provided trays for us to bring our breakfast to our room/balcony- very romantic way to start the day! The location was perfect! The local bus and tram stopped within a block of the B&B and Trastevere is one of the best neighborhood for food in Rome. We met with the B&B owner upon our arrival and she gave us some great recommendations for food nearby and things to do. She then kept in touch via whatsapp to make sure our stay was enjoyable. Highly recommended!

Nice place close to nightlife and sites
The location is perfect. Room was great. Contact with host through WhatsApp very convenient. Walking distance to most everything and on tram line for anything else. Quiet and clean and nice. The family of cousins that operate this B&B and Zoe B&B are extremely helpful. Desiree provided car service from the port and airport. Extremely friendly and lovely person. Very helpful. Loved this place and the people.

Well priced, convenient and friendly
Great location, all sightseeing spots easily walkable and tram stop outside the front door. Vibrant neighbourhood, with a number of very good restaurants and bars in the locality. The B&B owners are incredibly welcoming and give great advice on where to go and places to eat. A perfect location for our 5 day visit.

Service makes the difference.
We met Davide at the airport and from the moment we arrived we couldn't have been more comfortable. For them, it's a family business, truly...but what made it nice was that they made us feel like long time friends. Katia contacted us by email immediately upon booking and was so inviting, we referred our relatives to stay at the same place. The rooms are cozy and quite comfortable with modern appointment and bathrooms. Simple and well done. What made the difference for us though was people at B&B Zen. Trastevere is a great area to stay. Safe and central. Davide gave us a fantastic recommendation for our first meal at Mr. Clood and Desiree eloped us with after hours help as well. All in all, a great experience that we would repeat again.

AN OASIS IN THE HEART OF ROME
JUST RETURNED FROM A STAY AT ZEN B& B IN TRASTEVERE. THE OWNERS,DAVIDE AND KATIA WERE VERY WELCOMING AND OFFERED USEFUL INFORMATION ON LOCAL RESTAURANT AND TRANSPORT.THE ROOMS WERE SPOTLESS AND THE BALCONY AND ACCESS TO THE KITCHEN WERE A BIG BONUS. WOULD I STAY HERE AGAIN .....YES !

This hotel is located in a very cute part of Rome with lots of cafes and street shopping. It is within walking distance of all the sights, with bus and metro stations across the street. The area is safe and away from all the tourist madness. This is a small bed and breakfast so you will most likely meet and interact with other guests. The breakfast is light with croissants, bread, cheese, cold cuts, pastries, yogurt & cereal, and juice. Our room had a terrace which was nice. Davide and Katia were very friendly and helpful. Davide picked us up from the airport, which I recommend because finding the hotel could be difficult.

Cute and quiet B&B in Trastevere
This is a convenient B&B in Trastevere, almost across from the n 8 tram. The rooms are nicely appointed, clean and very quiet because they don't face the busy street. The owners, Davide and Katia, were extremely helpful and friendly. Highly recommended!

Excellent stay!
We had a great stay. The hosts picked us up and dropped us off at the airport for 40 euros each way - which was the most practical option for us. Our room had a very nice westwards facing balcony, a nice and clean bathroom and the room itself was both clean and quite spacious. The common area had a fridge and small kitchen, which was perfect after sightseeing, where we in advance could leave some cold beer, wine and snacks to enjoy later. Breakfast was at the coffee shop downstairs, and included one complimentary coffee and pastry of our own choosing. The location is excellent, very close to all necessary amenities. Communication with our hosts was easy through WhatsApp, both in advance and during our stay. Nothing but a positive experience through and through. We will definitely stay here the next time we return to Rome.

B&b très décevant.. Nous avons dû attendre qu’on nous ouvre la porte à distance.. des pièces à rongeurs disséminés un peu partout dans les parties communes.. Chambre très moyenne Petite kitch et balcon limite sale Petit déjeuner compris ? Nous avions droit à seulement une boisson chaude et une viennoiserie.. le reste a notre charge.. peut on parler de petit déjeuner ?? Aucune insonorisation.......... Très déçus par ce B&B Heureusement que le quartier était super... mais l’hébergement est à fuir..

Super freundlicher und unkomplizierter Familienbetrieb, habe direkt nach der Buchung Rückmeldung über Whats App bekommen (remote check-in via videbotschaft). Das Zen ist super gelegen und trotzdem ruhig. Tramhaltestelle vor dem Haus, viele nette Restaurants zu Fuss erreichaber, einfach top. Auch Preis-Leistung ist super! Komme gerne zurück

Contratei o transfer do proprio B&B, que foi maravilhoso. Desiree e o marido Angelo, super simpáticos. Disponibilizam café da manhã num formato self service bem interessante. Maquina de cafe e chá disponivel toda estadia. Muito bom para quem gosta. Nao tem TV nem frigobar no quarto. Mas pode-se usar a geladeira da cozinha. O wifi é muito ruim. Melhor comprar um chip para toda viagem

Sehr zentrale Lage - viele Sehenswürdigkeiten sind gut zu Fuß erreichbar. In der Umgebung kann man gut Essen gehen. Leider sehr hellhörig, jeden morgen gegen 7 Uhr Lärm durch eine Anlieferung im EG, Brummen der Klimageräte im Innenhof, Matratze durchgelegen, enthaltendes Frühstücksbuffet hat nichts mit einem Buffet zu tun (jeden Tag Toastbrot).

Super lejlighed
Fantastisk søde og hjælpsomme værter. En del støj fra gården, og fra ovenboen, lød som personen gik med træsko kl. 6 om morgenen og igen til midnat. Men ville alligevel bestille her igen, hvis vi kommer til Rom. Meget centralt beliggende, ved siden af supermarked og bager. Rent køkken til fri afbenyttelse, dejligt og skøn lille terrasse.
